War on Iran May Be Getting Closer

An article in the Asia Times reports “The George W Bush administration plans to launch an air strike against Iran within the next two months, an informed source tells Asia Times Online, echoing other reports that have surfaced in the media in the United States recently. Two key US senators briefed on the attack planned to go public with their opposition to the move, according to the source, but their projected New York Times op-ed piece has yet to appear. The source, a retired US career diplomat and former assistant secretary of state still active in the foreign affairs community, speaking anonymously, said last week that the US plans an air strike against the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).”
As long as Bush and Cheney are still in power, there is a strong chance a war on Iran could happen. The Democrats failed to carry out the will of the American people and impeach these criminals, so they must feel like they can get away with anything. The biggest reason the Democrats have failed to impeach Bush is not cowardice or the short amount of time remaining or the fear of a failed impeachment. The biggest reason is that the Israeli Lobby wanted the war on Iraq. Therefore Bush and Cheney get a pass since they were merely lying us into a war that the Israeli Lobby approved. Well, the Israeli Lobby wants a war on Iran and we have the same president and an equally complicit Congress all set to repeat history.
Once again. the Bush regime is insulting our intelligence with the most ridiculous lies intended to provoke a war. An ABC news article reports “Senior U.S. officials tell ABC News that in recent months there have been secret contacts between the Iranian government and the leadership of al Qaeda. It’s a development that has caught the attention of top officials in the White House, the Pentagon and the intelligence community. According to U.S. officials familiar with highly sensitive intelligence on this issue, the contacts are on the status of high-level al Qaeda operatives, including two of Osama Bin Laden’s sons, who have been under house arrest in Iran since 2003. The officials don’t believe Iran will allow these operatives to go free, but said they don’t know Iran’s motivation for initiating the talks.”
And what an amazing coincidence it is that the Bush regime has announced finding “Iran-al Qaeda” ties just as they push their case for war again. We really need to make it a serious crime for a president or his surrogates to tell bold-faced lies to the American public. There is an excellent chance that al Qaeda is entirely a creation of the CIA and/or MOSSAD and that every one of their so-called terrorist attacks have been false flag operations intended to create paranoia and drive America into Israel’s war with the Muslim world.
On the one hand, we are told that the CIA can’t find bin Laden and that we don’t know what al Qaeda is up to. On the other hand, we are told that our intelligence agencies know exactly what al Qaeda is doing and that they are now negotiating with Iran. Do they really think that we’re stupid enough to believe such a lame collection of stories that make no sense if you try to put them all together?
