The Cult of Barack Obama

Liberal Cult Leader Barack Obama

A foreign newspaper, the Australian News, is the first major media outlet to state something publicly that millions of Americans have been quietly saying to themselves: The Barack Obama phenomenon has reached the point where it is no longer political; it is a cult.

The Australian News reports: “How does a cult figure, in the eyes of some something akin to a messiah, make the transition to a political frontrunner – president even – where disappointment will soon crush what seemed to be a journey to a promised land? Looking into the faces of a more than 16,000-strong crowd in a basketball stadium in Hartford, Connecticut this week, the Mandela magic [sic] I’d seen before was there too. Black and white, and the youth; they appeared in a state close to rapture watching Obama speak. Here and there one could see women crying and the some men wiping away tears too.”

The explanation is at once quite simple and very complex. America as a nation has simply gone insane. The average politician is such a boring, corrupt old crook, that a young politician with a little charisma and big white smile is practically worshiped as a god.

The News goes on: “Through the media and on the streets people are getting a bit giddy over Obama. In this man they are projecting a new course – one that he says he will lead – where the US buries the culture wars, charts a new course in bipartisan politics and heralds a new dawn for America. ”

How one can “bury the culture wars” by electing a black who seems to have no program of any kind is unclear, but perhaps it makes sense to Obama’s cult votaries, who were raised on MTV and whose political sophistication is roughly one cut below that of a cheeseburger.

The Australian News article notes “After more than seven years of the Bush administration and when 70 per cent of the populace think America is on the wrong course, there’s little wonder that the hunger for something new is real and fertile ground to till for a politician. But Obama is part politician, part cult. Supporters wearing T-shirts with an Andy Warhol like pop-art image of his face testify to that. But then they – him – were once easy to dismiss until people realised Obama’s charisma was being matched by one of the most sophisticated ground operations ever seen. It is one that is outsmarting the Clinton machine. He’s marrying inspiration and cult with old-fashioned political grunt.”

The sheer disgust with Bush and his pro-torture neocon friends can explain quite a bit about the desire for change, any change, even when it is demented and divorced from any rational reality. I’ve heard Obama speak, and half-white or not, he simply doesn’t have the intelligence to put together a sophisticated operation like this. That coffee-colored head with the big white smile has virtually nothing in it. So who is running this operation?

Back to AN: “One would have to have a heart of stone not to be moved by Obama on the stump. It’s not so much by what he says but it’s the way the crowds respond to his words. When 16,000 people, without prompting, start shouting some of his keynote phrases as he delivers them, you know something special is going on.”

It’s called mind control. Probably a larger version of whatever they used in Jonestown to get all those cult members going.

While Hillary is challenging Democrats to vote for the first woman presidential candidate, Obama is asking Democrat liberals to vote for the first black presidential candidate. In the liberal world a black candidate trumps a woman candidate especially when the black candidate has some charm and charisma while this particular woman candidate has all the warmth and charm of Lizzie Borden. (Just ask Vince Foster.)

The introduction of Barack Obama comes at an especially bad time for the Republican Party, which has just been badly split by the rise of pro-Amnesty closet liberal John McCain. Apparently it’s not just ignorant liberals ruling the day; ignorant conservatives have rallied behind an Open Borders lunatic, who seems almost tailor-made to lose to Barack Obama. The Republican Party (except for Ron Paul and his followers) failed to learn anything from the disaster of 2006 when the Iraq War cost them control of Congress. The 2008 election is already shaping up to be a disaster with an illegal alien amnesty almost inevitable and the cult of Obama threatens to take over the whole nation.
