States Finally Cracking Down on Illegals

Border Security Under George Bush

For years the big excuse that was given as to why states and localities in the United States cannot begin dealing with the illegal immigration problem on their own is that “We have to leave it to Congress, we have to leave it to be addressed on the Federal level.” Well, we saw what “addressing it on the Federal level” meant last month, when the politicians in Washington tried to sneak through an amnesty for twenty million illegal aliens. That amnesty bill was shot down thaks to talk radio, various Internet patriots and Republicans extremely nervous about their re-election chances in 2008. Meanwhile, the states and cities of America are finally dealing with the problem.

Arizona Central News reports that “Gov. Janet Napolitano on Monday signed sweeping legislation against employers of undocumented workers, targeting the state’s market for illegal labor with what she called the most aggressive action in the country. The penalty for violators: the suspension of a business license on the first violation and permanent revocation on a second, amounting to a death sentence for repeat offenders.”

Well, that’s a start, but what we really need to see is some of these pale people without souls in business suits being locked up in the main population of a major prison for a number of years. If employers knew that not only would they lose their businesses, but that they would spend years in prison, rubbing shoulders with murderers and gang bangers, then they would have a definite incentive to hire American workers and pay them a decent wage.

AZ Central goes on: “The law takes effect Jan. 1, significantly raising the stakes for more than a quarter-million undocumented workers believed to reside in Arizona and the businesses that employ them.”

The true figure for illegals in Arizona would probably be at least a million. Remember, all official estimates as to the number of Third World illegal aliens are ridiculously low. They don’t want us citizens knowing how huge the problem really is. Remember how the Senate kept talking about “twelve million illegals” back when they were trying to ram the amnesty through. There are probably twelve million illegals in California alone.

These local laws are a step in the right direction toward recovering our country, but only a step. We will know that enforcement is working when there are MASSIVE DEPORTATIONS of the illegals who are ALREADY HERE, and the border is effectively sealed to prevent them from coming back. We will know it’s working when we can walk into our local Safeway or Wal-Mart and not find a pregnant Mexican with a book of food stamps ahead of us in line. The bottom line will always be the removal of the 20 million illegal aliens who were allowed in over the last 12 years against the law and against the will of the American people.
