Some Rare Good News on White Demographics
by Jeff Davis
In a world of all-too-frequent bad news for the future of White people in North America, it’s good to be able to see the occasional positive report. MSNBC reports: “The Amish are expanding their presence in states far beyond Pennsylvania Dutch country as they search for affordable farmland to accommodate a population that has nearly doubled in the past 16 years…Also known as Anabaptists, the Amish are Christians who reject most modern conveniences and rely on horse-drawn carriages. They dress in plain, old fashioned clothing and strive for modesty and self-reliance.”
The Amish are also entirely White, one of the few remaining completely White communities left in the world. While many White people see them as a bizarre cult, genetically they are good quality Whites, and a certain percentage of them join the modern world (hopefully remembering their socially conservative origins).
The MSNBC article notes “Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana continue to be the geographic center for the Amish, accounting for about two-thirds of the faith’s population. They also accounted for more than half of the total population gain. States such as Missouri, Kentucky and Minnesota have seen increases in their Amish populations of more than 130 percent. The Amish now number an estimated 227,000 nationwide, up from 123,000 in 1992, according to researchers from Elizabethtown College’s Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies.”
Almost all of that increase is due to actual births of white infants, since conversion to the Mennonite religion by outsiders is almost unknown.
MSNBC continues “Amish couples typically have five or more children. With more than four out of every five deciding in young adulthood to remain within the church, their population has grown steadily. More than half the population is under 21.” (Looks like there is indeed something to be said for That Old Time Religion.) “The Amish are attracted to areas with relatively cheap farms, a rural lifestyle and nonfarming jobs such as construction or cabinet making that fit their values and allow them to remain independent. In some cases, they have migrated to resolve leadership problems or escape church-related disputes.”
The fact is that the only groups of white people who are reproducing themselves in North America in the 21st century seem to be religious minorities of various kinds–Amish, Mormons, and Christian Identity. This is because fundamentalist Christianity provides an ideological and moral counter to the destructive radical feminism that is pushed by the Jewish media.
