Ron Paul Must Defend Two Key Issues to Win

The evening news mentioned that 75 percent of the people in South Carolina wanted the Iraq War to end. Did the reporter then mention Ron Paul? Of course not. His next words were that this was a great opportunity for…. “John Edwards.” Edwards by the way voted for the Iraq War and refused to promise to bring our troops home by 2013.

If Ron Paul wants to win in 2008, he needs to add the following words (or something very close) to the end of every single commercial he runs otherwise these two key issues will be stolen from him.

Iraq War and Immigration

Even the ultimate immigration traitor, John McCain, was mouthing the now meaningless platitude that he would “Secure the borders.” John McCain co-authored the illegal alien Amnesy Bill, but that didn’t stop him from lying to the people of New Hampshire.

Ron Paul is the only top tier candidate, who has a consistent record when it comes to enforcing immigration law and ending the Iraq War. Unfortunately both these issues are being stolen from him by silver-tongued liars from both the left and right.

All three top Democrat have made misleading statements that would make voters think that each was the “anti-war” candidate. In reality, during a Democrat debate, the moderator gave Hillary, Obama and Edwards an opportunity to promise that they would withdraw our troop from Iraq by 2013. Each one of them said “NO.”
