O’Reilly Badgers Ron Paul

Neocon Spin All the Time

To say that Bill O’Reilly interviewed Ron Paul is wildly inaccurate. O’Reilly spewed neocon lies. O’Reilly talked over Ron Paul. O’Reilly endlessly interrupted Ron Paul. O’Reilly at one point slandered Ron Paul, but O’Reilly really didn’t interview Ron Paul.

Americans, who don’t like the neocon lies Bush has repeated endlessly, will probably sympathize with Ron Paul, who was constantly interrupted by a hopelessly rude jackass, Bill O’Reilly, who knows absolutely nothing about Mid East realities.

Every time O’Reilly asked Ron Paul a question, he prefaced the question with several major lies, and then cut off Ron Paul before he could even begin dissecting all the dishonesty. Paul had a basically impossible task trying to refute what amounted to five or six lies packed into each question.

That incredible blowhard O’Reilly considers Iran an “aggressive nation” because they allegedly give arms to Hezbollah to defend Arab territory in Lebanon. I guess the Iranians were committing “aggression” when Israel re-invaded Lebanon last year, and Hezbollah blew up a number of Israeli tanks. In the world of the neocons, Arabs defending themselves is made equivalent to Arabs launching aggressive attacks on Israel.

I’m sick and tired of the brain-dead neocon arguments and I hope most Americans have woken up too.

Ron Paul needs to change his debate tactics when dealing with a professional neocon liar like O’Reilly. Paul needs to be more prepared to lob some short responses back at O’Reilly, such as:

* Iran has attacked no one since they overthrew the Shah. The claim that they are an aggressive nation is a lie.

* Even if Iran is supporting Hezbollah as you claim, that is not aggression. The US was supplying stinger missiles to freedom fighters in Afghanistan. Should that have been seen as an aggressive act and reason for war between the US and Soviet Union? (Just how crazy are you, Mr. O’Reilly?)

* You don’t get attacked by terrorists unless you interfere somewhere.

* Iran is cooperating with (IAEA) inspectors, who are supposed to prevent a nuke from being built. (Why do you want to bomb a country that’s cooperating? Oh, that’s right. You’re insane.)

* Bush failed to stop North Korea from making a nuke and the world hasn’t ended yet.

* We can’t go to war with every nation which might be making a nuke.

* The claim that Iran wants to “wipe out” Israel is based on deliberate mistranslations (spread by professional liars like you, Mr. O’Reilly).

* The neocon policies in the Mid East are a complete failure (even an idiot like you O’Reilly should be able to see that). And you people want to continue them.

* Didn’t you Mr. O’Reilly apologize on air for being suckered by the claim that there were Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq? If you were wrong then, what makes you think you are right now? You have accepted a whole new set of lies from the same people, who fooled you before. And why won’t you listen to someone like myself, who hasn’t had to apologize?

If Ron Paul does do another interview, he’ll need to stick to short responses and he will probably have to shout over that interrupting moron, O’Reilly, to finish his points.
