Mugabe Attacks Remaining Whites of Rhodesia

I personally wasn’t aware that there were any white people left in Zimbuggery, but apparently a few were allowed to remain in order to produce food for the Marxist ruling party’s elite. Now senile Communist dictator Robert Mugabe is lashing out like a gigantic black baby in a tantrum, and guess who he is victimizing?
Wired reports: “With his 28-year grip on power slipping, President Robert Mugabe’s government has again lashed out at Zimbabwe’s white community, calling his black opponents tools of former colonial master Britain and stoking anger against the nation’s whites. In the past, such attacks struck a chord in a country that suffered under white minority rule until 1980 and where whites controlled much of the economy even decades later. But after repeated attacks, the seizure of most white-owned farms and the near collapse of the economy, the white community’s size and power have dwindled. It may no longer be effective to use whites as a scapegoat for the nation’s ills.”
In other words, there’s no more than a couple of hundred Whites left, and nobody believes they’re responsible for all the failures of the Mugabe regime.
Wired goes on: “Mugabe’s past programs to seize white wealth might have been too effective…and may have deprived the president of his most valuable tactic. Now, with just a handful of whites left controlling businesses and farms, offering to seize white property may not be seen as a rich prize to the poor blacks suffering the worst of the economic hardships.”
I have heard something else interesting: Many of the “expropriated” white farmers and businessmen of the year 2000 on were not original Rhodesians, but quasi-liberals who flocked to “Zimbabwe” after 1980 in order to carpetbag.
Wired: “Before the March 29 elections, Mugabe castigated British government leaders and whites in Zimbabwe he said were yearning for a return to colonial-era white privilege, calling them ‘pink noses’ he would smash with his fist. Following the vote, which he reportedly lost though the results have yet to be released, Mugabe again turned to the racial issue, telling Zimbabweans that the land taken from the white farmers was under threat. ‘This our soil, and the soil must never go back to the whites,’ he said.”
Never mind the fact that many of the farms were hacked out of the jungle by Whites and that much of the land was dry savannah until Whites brought in irrigation. The typical Africans for hundreds of years raised cattle, but did not farm –aside from collecting crops that grow wild.
Although the average American won’t admit it, we are rapidly heading toward a non-White majoriy nation ourselves. It looks like Obama will be the first non-White president. How long until we get our own “Mugabe” who plunders the Whites for the benefit of the non-Whites? (As if racial quotas and Affirmative action weren’t stealing jobs and promotions from Whites for decades already.)
