Lynching of Imus Covered Up Sharpton’s Role in Duke Lacrosse Case
Rush Limbaugh predicted a second Tawana Brawley situation for Sharpton

At first it seemed like a suspicious coincidence that the Duke Lacrosse Case was finally being dropped at exactly the same time that Al Sharpton went after Don Imus over what-seemed a nothing remark. Typically when some big shot says something that sends a civil rights shake-down artist into a dither, some money changes hands, the big shot apologizes and that’s the end of the story. Why was Al Sharpton so insistent that Don Imus be FIRED (and nothing less than fired) over a trivial remark?
Al Sharpton NEEDED a distraction. For the past year, Sharpton was smearing, defaming and slandering three innocent White students at Duke University, whose only “crime” was to insult a Black stripper and hurt her feelings. The Duke students were throwing a frat party. They had asked for White or Latino strippers and were upset when two Black strippers showed up. Some of the students proceeded to insult the strippers and one or two drunk students may even have called a stripper the N-word. (Horror, Shock, Gasp!!!) One of the strippers responded by vindictively accusing three of the Duke students of rape. There was every indication at the beginning of this case that it was groundless, but the corrupt District Attorney Michael Nifong decided to ruin the lives of three innocent White students and Al Sharpton jumped in to attack the White students as well.
There was NEVER any DNA evidence against the Duke students. The other Black stripper had been in sight of the accuser all evening except for a couple minutes and there was no indication (after a few minutes passed) that anything unusual had happened. Also the accuser was a STRIPPER!!! It shouldn’t take a genius to realize that isn’t exactly at the top of the reliable list for eyewitnesses. The flaming liberal District Attorney Michael Nifong wanted to make points with the large Black population in his home district surrounding Duke University so he decided to go after these three White boys, ignoring all the evidence to the contrary and not even waiting for DNA tests to come back.
Shortly after the Duke-Lacrosse scandal began, Rush Limbaugh had an exchange with a caller. The caller asked why Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton weren’t protesting the huge influx of illegal aliens. Rush responded:
Limbaugh: They’re — they’re busy. They’re busy. The Reverend Jackson is in New Orleans. He’s leading a big march there tomorrow… Sharpton’s working on a New Orleans deal, too.
He’s trying to figure out how he can get involved in the deal down there at Duke where the lacrosse team –
CALLER 1: Yeah.
LIMBAUGH: — uh, supposedly, you know, raped, some, uh, hos.
CALLER 1: But I don’t think they’re very happy about all of this.
LIMBAUGH: Yeah, well, but… that Duke thing’s got a possibility of being a Tawana Brawley situation. That — and Sharpton’s got a balance — can he afford another one of those as — as his life’s going on?
So Rush Limbaugh to his credit was predicting that the Duke-Lacrosse Case would turn into another phony Tawana Brawley hoax and that Al Sharpton’s career could be over if he was found guilty of wrongfully going after innocent White men again. (Rush was right about the hoax, but apparently Sharpton has a “license to slander” Whites whenever he sees fit.)
The best defense is a good offense and Al Sharpton must have been watching all the White talk show hosts with an eagle eye waiting for an incident which he could blow out of all proportion to save his sorry career as a Black racist and slanderer. It was at this time that Don Imus used a line out of various rap songs “nappy headed hos” to describe some rough-looking Rutgers basketball players with tattoos. Never mind the fact that the Rutgers basketball team has two White girls on it. Oh no! Mustn’t let the facts stand in the way of Al Sharpton when he’s accusing a White man of racism.
Al Sharpton KNEW that Imus was joking around using lyrics out of rap culture. Sharpton’s insistence that this was anything but a joke on the part of Imus is a deliberate slander that can be added to the other slanders Sharpton has used against other innocent White men.
Amazingly, the gutless management at MSNBC and CBS folded like a cheap suit when confronted by Al Sharpton, a man who should have no credibility whatsoever. The media spotlight was completely distracted from Sharpton’s most recent evil deeds and focused on a nothing remark by Don Imus, who ironically was collecting money for children with cancer (including many needy Black children). Imus’ radio show was canceled literally in the middle of the cancer Radiothon robbing innocent children of millions of dollars and perhaps their last chance to get life-saving treatment.
There is absolutely no doubt that Don Imus is not a racist –unless there are racists who raise money for needy Black kids with cancer. I have absolutely no doubt that Sharpton went after Imus solely to divert attention from Sharpton’s role in repeatedly slandering the White students in the Duke-Lacrosse case. This was another “Tawana Brawley situation” which should have ended Sharpton’s career as Rush Limbaugh noted over a year ago. CBS and MSNBC let a Black racist with two counts of slander on his record dictate corporate policy on Free Speech. Al Sharpton should be hitting the streets looking for a new job, not Don Imus.
**As a side note: A year ago, Rush Limbaugh incidentally took some heat over calling the Black Strippers “hos” and had to apologize for calling a stripper a “ho.” Back then, an apology was apparently good enough. (Geesh, what should he have called the stripper: “ho-lite” or maybe “future ho”?)
