Is Bill Gates Skirting Immigration Laws?

Poor Bill Gates! It seems that America’s “harsh” immigration laws are constricting his flow of cheap Third World techie labor, and Bill is so miffed he’s setting up shop across the border in Canada, where the immigration laws are even more non-existent than they are here.
According to Breitbart News, “US software behemoth Microsoft Corp. said Thursday it would soon open an office in Canada, lamenting tough immigration rules in the United States that make it difficult to hire foreign staff. ‘It is about recruiting the best and brightest, and right now, the majority are coming from overseas,’ Marc Seaman, a spokesman for the world’s biggest software company, told The Globe and Mail newspaper.”
So, the United States educational system did NOT turn out hundreds of thousands of new IT graduates in the past ten years? That’s odd…I was certain we did. Bill Gates wouldn’t lie, now would he? Maybe there should be a little Congressional investigation to see if our universities and colleges have produced these IT grads or if Bill Gates simply does not want to pay them a decent wage when he can get a Hindu with a turban to do the job for ten bucks an hour.
Breitbart goes on: “The development office, to be opened in Vancouver, a three-hour drive north from Microsoft’s Redmond, Washington headquarters, will initially be staffed by some 300 recruits from around the world, the company said. Eventually, it could grow to house as many as 1,000 employees. Canada is currently the third-largest source of recruits for Microsoft outside the United States, after India and Japan.”
One of the oldest immigration dodges in the book is to A) Set up a phony Canadian subsidiary as a front; B) Hire a whole slew of cheapo “science and technical graduates” from Rangoon U. or the Bangladesh School of Engineering; C) Get them legalized in Canada, which is apparently a matter of simply having a dark skin pigment and filling out a few forms; and then D).Bring them down to the parent company in the United States where the REAL work is being done as alleged “Canadians” on one-year visas. These visas (with a little greasing of the correct palms at ICE) can be extended year after year after year–or abruptly terminated at will –an excellent threat useful for keeping the workforce docile and low-paid.
What do you want to bet that within a year or so the American Microsoft facilities will be swarming with dark-skinned “software designers” and “engineers” who barely speak English, working for $20,000 per year and no benefits (since they’re “temporary Canadians”)? Naturally, these foreigners will be replacing competent and experienced American workers, who were paid $70,000+ for the same work. Imagine five of these Hindu ersatz software writers splitting the rent on some house in Redmond or Bellevue like so many high-tech Mexicans?
The one truth that everyone needs to understand about our government and immigration is this: Mexicans are being brought in to undermine low-paid workers and Asians are being brought in to undermine high-paid workers. If we shut down Third World immigration and pass laws against outsourcing, Americans could be prosperous and enjoy some job security.
