You’ve Lost a Lot of Ground, Baby.

I am always fascinated to observe when a liberal pundit is dragged kicking and screaming to the admission that they’ve been wrong about something all their lives. New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd has finally admitted something that almost everybody knows, especially American women: The great feminist revolution has not succeeded in making women equal, but only in making them miserable.

It’s true women weren’t allowed to vote until 1920, but a real women’s movement in the early 20th century fought to get that right. Women were attending colleges in America long before 1920. Movies from the 1930s show women in a wide variety of professions. And there were women in the corporate world decades ago (although most of the early ones inherited their husband’s corporation after the husband had a fatal heart attack).

The radical feminist movement that started in the 1970s tried to convince millions of American women that they would never be happy as housewives raising children, even though a very large percentage of American women were happy being housewives, raising children.

Many of the women who tried following men into the business world pursuing a “career” found that their career often got in the way of finding a good husband and having a family.

In her [1] column in the New York Times, Dowd says: “Women are getting unhappier…Why are we sadder? In the early ’70s, breaking out of the domestic cocoon, leaving their mothers’ circumscribed lives behind, young women felt exhilarated and bold. But the more women have achieved, the more they seem aggrieved. Did the feminist revolution end up benefiting men more than women?”

Actually, it benefited neither and seriously harmed both. Millions of children were robbed of having a full time mom to look after them. Instead of having one parent, who was exhausted and stressed out after a day at work, millions of families had TWO exhausted and stressed out parents with little time or patience left for their children.

The [2] Dowd article notes “According to the General Social Survey, which has tracked Americans’ mood since 1972, and five other major studies around the world, women are getting gloomier and men are getting happier. Before the ’70s, there was a gender gap in America in which women felt greater well-being. Now there’s a gender gap in which men feel better about their lives… When women stepped into male- dominated realms, they put more demands — and stress — on themselves. If they once judged themselves on looks, kids, hubbies, gardens and dinner parties, now they judge themselves on looks, kids, hubbies, gardens, dinner parties — and grad school, work, office deadlines and meshing a two-career marriage.”

Maybe having it all really isn’t possible. Maybe it would be better for most moms to put their careers on the back burner and take several years off to raise their children, especially when they’re the most impressionable.

The [2] Dowd article continues “Another daunting thing: America is more youth and looks obsessed than ever, with an array of expensive cosmetic procedures that allow women to be their own Frankenstein Barbies. Men can age in an attractive way while women are expected to replicate — and Restylane — their 20s into their 60s.”

We can thank our superficial American culture and Hollywood for this sort of attitude. American women have been taught all their lives by Hollywood and liberalism that they have an automatic right to enjoy everything in life all at the same time. And if they don’t get it, it’s because they are the victims of some big huge worldwide male conspiracy to deny them their entitlement. Yes, all of the world’s problems and all of their own personal problems are caused by wicked and evil men trying to keep them down!

The fact is, of course, that this feminist rap is a pure fantasy. It simply isn’t true. No one is automatically entitled to freedom and fulfillment and luxury and prosperity and adventure and a fulfilling relationship all at the same time. Not men or women. Life simply isn’t like that.

Women are unhappy because they have been propagandized to hold unrealistic and impossible expectations, and to set unrealistic goals for themselves. Liberalism tries to create animosity between men and women, and their most “successful” examples are the shrill harridans in the Democrat Party like Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton with her oft wandering “soul mate”. Not exactly happy women.

The object of feminism is to make women hate men and thereby ensure that White family life becomes unstable, and that eventually fewer White babies are born. Feminism is ultimately a part of the overall liberal agenda of genocide against White people. What better way to ensure the extinction of a race than to make the sexes hate one another, and turn them to homosexuality and feminism and other weird aberrations?
