Europe’s Successful Moon Probe Mission

A recent news article reports “Europe’s first mission… raised the low point of the SMART-1 spacecraft about 2,000 feet by using its positioning thrusters to avoid the almost mile-high rim of a moon crater. The maneuver began late Friday night from the European Space Agency’s mission control in Darmstadt and was completed about three hours later, said Octavio Camino, spacecraft operations chief for the mission. ‘We have got confirmation that the maneuver was successful,’ Camino said… The craft is to end its three-year voyage at 1:41 a.m. EDT Sunday by crashing into a volcanic plain called the Lake of Excellence at 4,475 mph. The impact could increase understanding of how the lunar surface evolved and help test a theory that the moon originated when another astronomical body slammed into the Earth. Even before the $140 million mission ended, ESA was celebrating the main goal — a successful test of the ion engine that it hopes to use for future interplanetary flights, such as the BepiColombo joint mission to Mercury…”
The success of this mission highlights the unique scientific talent that White nations possess. Even though much of the information on rockets has been published for decades, very few nations outside Europe and America have made any significant attempt at rocketry and space exploration. The most advanced Asian race, the Japanese, have attempted sending space probes out to explore the solar system. The Chinese have only recently joined the space race becoming the first non-White nation to send an astronaut into space. Virtually all of China’s modern technology has been copied from the West. During the Clinton administration a wealth of classified information was exported (or secretly sold) to them in exchange for bribes.
The Chinese have benefited from the treasonous outsourcing of billions of dollars in American manufacturing. Their society has gone from being barely able to feed their population to mildly properous (at least for the top party officials and business leaders). Even the technology to launch heavy satellites is being outsourced to China in an ill-advised effort, which could come back to devastate us if a nuclear war with them breaks out. China became the fourth major power aside from the US, Russia and western Europe to develop a heavy lift rocket. China’s endeavor is almost entirely motivated by profit. The Chinese effort has been marked by some spectacular failures including the deaths of hundreds -if not thousands- of villagers when a heavy lift rocket crashed to earth. One wonders if the Chinese chose to send up an astronaut because they needed a couple successful launches before insurance companies would allow satellites to be put on their rockets again.
The Indians, Pakistanis and North Koreans appear to be the only other nations making an effort to build rockets. North Korea seems motivated by a desire to threaten Japan and the west coast of America. Their latest attempt at a long range rocket was a failure. Pakistan has missiles with just enough range to attack their neighbor India. Meanwhile India is making some modest progress toward making larger commercial rockets, but the progress is not that impressive given their population of over one billion people.
To highlight the fact that successful rocketry stems from White creativity and scientific genius, Burt Rutan with a budget of only $20 million dollars from entrepreneur Richard Branson developed the first successful space vehicle built without governmental assistance.
Meanwhile, the US space program has suffered serious setbacks as it integrates more Third World races into NASA and JPL as part of “diversity” and federal racial quota programs. Why should JPL hire engineers from Peru and Bangladesh while those nations are hopelessly backward states lucky to escape cholera epidemics in any given year? White scientists in Europe and America pioneered rocket science and replacing them with the backward dregs from the Third World can only have catastrophic results as witnessed by the troubled Space Shuttle program, which is only one disaster away from permanent cancellation, and a large number of space probe failures.
