Episcopalians Debate Homosexuality Issue

Anyone who has read the Bible should know that God prohibits homosexuality. The book of Leviticus, Chapter 18 clearly calls this “lifestyle” an abomination. And there’s the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by God Himself for their wickedness. (Sadly God does not intervene as often today leaving New York and San Francisco intact so far.)
While liberals would never be so culturally insensitive as to offer a Hindu a hamburger, they show only contempt for true blue Christians. Liberals just don’t get it. They think that resistance to “Gay culture” is a sign of bigotry –that the decision to tolerate Gays is no different from deciding whether or not to have a ham sandwich for lunch.
Opposing homosexuality is a fundamental part of the Christian religion. About 50 percent of Americans are sufficiently amoral that they have bought into the “live and let live” propaganda of the Left and they tolerate and even befriend Gays. These overly tolerant liberals and moderates probably don’t know that homosexuals commit 30 to 40 percent of all child molestation. While not all homosexuals are child molesters, their rate of molestation makes them the most likely identifiable group of people prone to this criminal behavior. It is an act of blindness and severe criminal negligence to fail to protect young children and teenagers from homosexual predators. It has been said that homosexuals “reproduce” by seducing naive young people into their sordid lifestyle and the crime statistics bear this out.
For decades a major part of the left-liberal agenda has been to find some way of revoking or undoing the Biblical prohibition against sodomy and making this perversion in some way not only acceptable, but glamorous to people who call themselves Christians, or at least to wealthy liberal people with more money than sense who call themselves Christians and who are therefore willing to bankroll assorted left-wing and liberal causes which have nothing whatsoever to do with religion.
The main thrust of the so-called “debate” is always to allow homosexuals to be ministers, thus undermining the traditional form of Christianity with a view towards destroying the essential message of the religion itself and turning it into a vehicle for social and sexual re-engineering, as well as a cash cow which can be milked for other projects on The Agenda.
The Episcopal Church in America, which was once categorized in the 19th century as “The Republican Party at prayer,” has always been a primary target of queers and feminists, generally with great success. Female “ministers” or priests are now common in most Episcopalian dioceses, and open queers mince about the altar wearing priests’ robes and doing who knows what to the children of the flock.
On June 13th, the Episcopal General Convention will convene in Columbus, Ohio. This is the first convention that has been held since 2003 when the church consecrated an open homosexual as a bishop — V. Gene Robinson of New Hampshire. The move has been greeted with outrage by a surprisingly large body of Episcopalians, who want Robinson de-frocked (in the religious sense) and who want to ban any repetition of this kind of blasphemy in their church. Much to everyone’s surprise, including the church hierarchy’s, there are still a few Episcopalians who apparently have this silly, antiquated notion that their church and its ministers ought to abide by God’s commandments. How politically incorrect can you get? The convention will have to deal with several motions which have already been tabled by Christians within the church, asking for a moratorium on electing “partnered” gay Episcopal bishops (in other words, for God’s sake don’t let them sodomize one another in our rectory!) and also a ban on “blessing ceremonies” for sodomitic couples.
Lacking any formal representation in the church hierarchy, bona fide Christian Episcopalians have taken to the Internet to express their outrage at church-approved buggery and demand reform in the church. Blogs have been a favored weapon of dissent for Episcopalian Christians: a quick Web search yields at least 20 dedicated to the discussion of the problems confronting the 2.3 million-member denomination who are having this filthy perversion forced upon them. Buggering bishops have complained that they are receiving “hateful” e-mails from their flock, and that they are being personally attacked on the Web as the spineless, time-serving theological bureaucrats and white-washed sepulchers they are.
Perhaps the strongest pro-Christian commentary can be found on David Virtue’s website. The aptly named Virtue denounces sodomy with a vim and a vigor worthy of an old time Southern pastor. Virtue says anyone offended by his language should not read his site.
Liberal blogs devoted to the same topic have censored and removed countless comments on the sodomitic sitch in the Episcopal church. The Episcopalians have been noted for a generally sedate outlook on life, but now they’re shouting and rolling in the aisles like hootin’ hollerin’ Pentecostals.
The (real) Christians are also organizing their own lobbying group, called “Lay Episcopalians for the Anglican Communion.” These folks are going to run a full court press at the Columbus convention demanding a church heresy trial for buggering Bishop Robinson and the dozens of other bishops who consecrated him and acquiesced in this ghastly act of sacrilege.
The liberals are firmly entrenched in the church hierarchy and have been for decades. (The Episcopalians were among the first denominations targeted for left-wing takeover, as far back as the old Comintern days of the 1930s.) Most likely what will happen will be a split between Episcopalians. Many of the actual Christians, if not all, will simply leave the denomination and take their money with them, which will be all to the good as it will cut down the flow of Christian cash to Gay and Lesbian organizations.
