Defeating the Neocons and Bush’s Amnesty Plan
by James Buchanan

The defeat of the neocons should be seen as a HUGE victory by all patriotic Americans. The 2006 election shows that the American public rejects the neocons’ endless occupation of Iraq and the steady erosion of our basic Rights. The arrogant and incompetent Donald Rumsfeld is finally out of office. GOP Chairman and Zionist neocon Ken Mehlman has announced he will be quitting soon.
Early in the Bush presidency, a group of Zionist carpet baggers (neocons) showed up amidst the Republican Party, uninvited, and proceeded to dictate foreign policy leading the GOP to complete ruin. Perhaps fear of the Israeli Lobby allowed these usurpers to walk into the highest levels inside the GOP promoting wars that had nothing to do with US interests. The paranoid state of Israel wanted us to pound Iraq into the ground and to eliminate Saddam Hussein even though Iraq posed NO threat to the US and only a minor threat to Israel.
The neocons also promoted all the freedom-destroying “security” measures which have angered Americans. The United States has fought two World Wars without resorting to warrantless spying and other draconian measures, which the neocons insist are necessary. The Constitutional protection against torture has been eliminated along with the legal Right “habeas corpus” (getting your day in court versus rotting in a secret prison).
The neocons completely alienated the anti-war segment of the US population with their Iraq War. Their runaway spending on military adventures drove out true conservatives who wanted limited government and limited spending. They alienated traditional patriots, who know and appreciate the importance of the Bill of Rights, and the neocons eventually alienated the vast majority of Americans, who grew tired of their arrogant, condescending proclamations and their repeated displays of gross incompetence from Katrina to the occupation of Iraq. While almost every American went along with the war on Afghanistan since we were told bin Laden was there, the war on Iraq was widely seen as totally unnecessary. Every life lost there was a waste. Opposition to the Iraq War grew from a minority percentage in 2003 to a solid majority by the 2006 election.
The obvious disclaimer to defeating the neocons is that the GOP has lost its majorities in the House and Senate. The pea-brained George W. Bush may go ahead now and try to pass his treasonous guest worker amnesty bill. It should be noted that the GOP held total power for six years and deported almost none of the twenty million illegals. Strangely many right-wingers refuse to admit: “If you don’t deport them, it’s a de facto amnesty.”
Despite the proclamations of the “doom and gloom” crowd in the right wing who wail that “All is lost” now that we’re threatened with an amnesty, there is still hope. It may be possible to deal with the Bush-Amnesty problem through a little creative political maneurvering. Among the possibilities are:
1).Operation Endless Shame: Patriotic Americans should make it known to George W. Bush that if he passes his guest worker/amnesty bill, patriots will literally follow him around for the rest of his life waving signs that say “You ruined America” and “Bush = Worst Traitor Since Judas.” Bush will look back on Cindy Sheehan’s protest as “the good old days” by comparison. Internet bloggers will curse Bush’s name on a daily basis long after he’s out of office and remind future generations of his treason. Bush’s dream that he will have a positive legacy will NEVER materialize. Bush will go down in history with a worse legacy than that of Herbert Hoover. Bush will not even be granted any peace or forgiveness as Richard Nixon or Jimmy Carter received. Bush will be badgered for the rest of his life by patriotic Americans blaming him for transforming America into a Third World backwater.
2).Operation Caine Mutiny: Patriotic right wing politicians holding high political offices will have George W. Bush declared mentally incompetent due to insanity. All of the secret tirades, rants and tantrums that Bush has thrown in the last few years will be made public. His continuing alcoholism and massive addiction to powerful mind-altering anti-depressants will also be exposed. Bush will either be forced to resign or simply be declared clinically insane by professional fully accredited psychiatrists. Realistically, Bush may quietly resign for “personal reasons” before this measure would take effect, but if only a fraction of the stories describing Bush’s behavior in the White House are true, there is an excellent chance he could be declared insane and the American public would demand his removal once stories about his personal behavior were made public. If Americans knew what sort of lunatic has had his finger on the nuclear button for the last few years, the demand for Bush to resign would be deafening. As undesirable as Dick Cheney may be, at least he is unlikely to sell out America with a guest worker amnesty.
These proposed operations are not intended to be limited to just one small portion of the right wing. Feel free to circulate these ideas throughout the Internet. The threat of a guest worker amnesty needs to be blocked at all costs and if either one of these operations can put the brakes on Bush’s amnesty plan, then the sooner it can be done, the better.
