Another Full Page Ad Challenges Obama’s Citizenship

Last week, a full page ad in the Washington Times challenged Obama’s alleged US citizenship. On Dec. 1st and 3rd, there will be two full page ads in the Chicago Tribune also challenging Obama’s citizenship. The ad can be seen here. Chicago of course is Obama’s home turf in recent years. It’s refreshing to see Americans shelling out some serious money (tens of thousands of dollars) to put this issue before the American public instead of just hoping the mainstream news media will report it.

An article on AOL news reports “The election may be over, but not the controversy. Just when you thought the flap over the genuineness of Barack Obama’s birth certificate was all said and done, in comes the We The People Foundation. The group purchases a full-page ad in The Chicago Tribune - the newspaper of the president-elect’s hometown - today and Wednesday, called ‘Open Letter to Mr. Obama.’ It’s described by the foundation as a ‘formal Petition for a Redress (Remedy) for the alleged violation of the ‘natural born citizen’ clause of the Constitution of the United States of America.’ ”

The ad makes some excellent arguments noting that Barack’s African grandmother has repeatedly said that he was born in Kenya, and that Barack forfeited his original citizenship (whether it was Kenyan or US citizenship) when he lived in Indonesia and was adopted by an Indonesian citizen. It is believed that Obama traveled on an Indonesian passport in 1971 and 1981. WorldNetDaily reported that there was no record of Obama having a US passport prior to becoming a US Senator. This strongly suggests that he must have had a foreign passport for his earlier travels. Obama may have gotten a Kenyan passport as a baby, used that to travel to the US and then Indonesia, and then acquired and used an Indonesian passport for the travels, which he is known to have made as a young man. Obama traveled to Pakistan in 1981, which was a prohibited country for US citizens. If Obama had an Indonesian passport, he would have had no trouble traveling to Pakistan. (more…)
