Final Thoughts before the Election

Barack Obama has run a campaign which has said very little besides his promises of “hope and change.” Well, “change” could very well be for the worse and liberal politicians are very good at raising taxes, strangling business and putting people out of work. The word “hope” doesn’t mean anything unless you “hope” that Obama doesn’t turn out to be a Socialist, who wants to spread your wealth around.

Obama has promised not to raise income taxes on people earning less than $250,000 per year. We’ve all seen dozens of his campaign commercials making this claim. What Obama and the complicit mainstream media have not told you is that Obama plans to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire. This would raise taxes on everyone earning more than $6100 adjusted gross income. Income earned above $28,400 would be taxed at a rate two percent higher. In the world of the liberals (including Obama) allowing a tax cut to expire does not count as a tax increase. Ordinary Americans might want to call Obama a liar.

Obama has also hinted that he would end the Iraq War. This is probably the biggest “change” that people perceive when they think of Obama versus the Republicans. When asked during a debate if he would promise to end the Iraq War by 2013 (the end of his first term), Obama refused to make that pledge. The Israeli Lobby wants our troops in Iraq and Obama is just as much a slave to the Israeli Lobby as all our other politicians. (more…)
