General Update on the Obama Citizenship Case

Most of the liberal media simply stonewalls the issue of Obama’s citizenship. They treat this issue much like they treated the Ron Paul presidential campaign. For the most part, they ignore it. You can count the number of national articles about Obama’s citizenship being challenged on the fingers of one hand.

The first mention of a lawsuit challenging Obama’s citizenship was an AP article that made a very brief mention of Philip Berg and his case against Obama being dismissed by a federal judge. The reporting was obviously intended to make it look like Berg was some nut and his case had no merit. The article didn’t bother to mention that the federal judge ruled against Berg claiming that he had “no standing” to question Obama’s citizenship. In short, this was yet another arrogant, flippant ruling by a judge, who couldn’t care less about the Constitution or the facts of the case. (more…)

Obama’s Citizenship Far from Certain

The “conventional wisdom” among the relatively few pundits or cable news drones who have bothered to mention the Obama citizenship issue is that it’s simply “impossible” that Obama could not be a US citizen. Somehow, they just know that he couldn’t possibly have been born outside the US.

They ignore the fact that Obama’s mother traveled extensively outside the US. They ignore the fact that Obama’s father never got US citizenship and lived out his life in Kenya after deserting Barack Obama and his mother. They ignore the fact that Barack’s name is clearly more suited for someone, who was meant to grow up in Kenya than the United States.

An article from the Christian Faith and Reason website has some interesting information about Barack Obama Senior and Ann Dunham: “There is no indication that Barack Obama Senior was present at the birth of his third child (Barack Obama Jr.). Stanley Ann’s high school classmate Susan Blake had the impression that he was not there, and may not even have been on the island of Hawaii at the time, but no other contemporary has any recollections on this issue one way or the other. In August or September of 1961, Barack Obama Senior enrolled and attended classes in his final undergraduate year from the University of Hawaii, from which he would graduate with a Bachelors Degree in economics and mathematics in June, 1962.”

It should be noted that Barack Obama Senior was a foreign student from Kenya. There’s a significant possibility that such a student might go home during the summer break and return to school in the fall. Ironically one reason for Barack Senior to go back to Kenya was that he had a Kenyan wife and two African children that he had not seen for some time.

There’s a strong chance that Ann Dunham flew to Kenya chasing after Barack Senior so the two of them would be together when Barack Junior was born. In 1961, Ann Dunham thought “she would take her place beside him (Barack Obama Senior)” back in Kenya after he took a prestigious position in the newly formed Kenyan government. (more…)

How about Impeaching Bush Now?

The Detroit Free Press recently ran an article advancing a novel idea: Could Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats finally get on with impeaching George W. Bush. The article reports “Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s ineffectiveness became clear the day she became Speaker of the House and immediately announced that there would be no impeachment proceedings against President George W. Bush or Vice President Dick Cheney. Guided by politics, she said leading investigations into just how much the Bush administration did – and did wrong – would be divisive. What she didn’t express was her worry that too many Democrats faced elimination from the House if they took on the difficult task of proving who knew what, when… But Congress is running out of time to finally make the Bush administration own up to its actions for eight years. If Congress isn’t careful, the president who already has issued 171 pardons could also pardon every appointee and employee he has ever had – and their dogs. And then Americans will never find out what happened to our country over the past eight years.”

I suppose technically Bush could even pardon himself, although I am not sure how one goes about pardoning someone when no charges have ever been filed or a conviction obtained. There should be some restriction against a renegade president giving a “Get out of jail free card” in the form of a pardon to everyone involved in a wide range of crimes from lying the US into an illegal war to illegal wiretaps to changing official US policy to allow torture in violation of the Geneva Convention and the 1996 War Crimes Act.

The article notes “Pelosi wouldn’t have to start from scratch: Rep. Dennis Kucinich, the bravest member of Congress, introduced legislation 11 months ago to impeach the president and vice president. Last January, the House gave a first reading of one of those articles of impeachment. Our own Rep. John Conyers, chair of the House Judiciary Committee, joined 38 other representatives to sponsor HR 635, which would form a committee to look into whether there are grounds for impeachment. Revive that effort!”

The objective seems to be to force Bush to concentrate on an impeachment during his last two months in office, so he won’t have time to commit any more destructive acts, like attacking Iran or pardoning his entire administration in order to short-circuit any investigations into their assorted high crimes and misdemeanors. That Pesky Little Piece of Paper that Won’t Go Away

The US Constitution demands that US presidents be born in the USA.

The controversy surrounding the (possibly non-existent) birth certificate of Barack Obama will be the next presidency’s “Paula Jones” case. No matter how desperately the Democrats try to ignore it, the problem simply won’t go away, thanks to the Internet and some dedicated patriots who are doing the reporting and investigating that the mainstream media is supposed to do. Some folks in the media may even be feeling a litte “buyer’s remorse” over their slavish devotion to Obama, especially considering that his “hope and change” appears to be little more than a re-installation of the Clinton administration, with Hillary, the Secretary of State, and Bill roaming the halls looking for chubby interns. Slowly but surely, the Obama-citizenship story is beginning to creep into the mainstream media. At first the liberal know-it-alls summarily dismissed any challenges to Obama’s citizenship as if these were nothing more than rumors made up by drunken rednecks, but the case isn’t going away and two lawsuits have made it all the way to the Supreme Court.

The Philadelphia Evening Bulletin reports: “Two of the plaintiffs in court cases against Sen. Barack Obama, the president-elect, are working to move their cases forward before his presidential inauguration… Philip J. Berg, the attorney who filed suit against Mr. Obama challenging him to produce his original birth certificate to prove he meets the constitutional requirements to serve as U.S. president, filed a Writ of Certiorari in the U.S. Supreme Court late in October, in an effort to force Mr. Obama to produce the document. Accordingly, the U.S. Supreme Court has said that Mr. Obama, the DNC and all co-defendants are to respond to the writ, on or before Dec. 1. The judge in Mr. Berg’s original case ruled that Mr. Berg does not have standing to enforce the constitutional requirements on a presidential candidate. Mr. Berg appealed the ruling to the Supreme Court. ‘I look forward to receiving defendant Obama’s response to the writ and am hopeful the U. S. Supreme Court will review Berg v. Obama. I believe Mr. Obama is not a constitutionally-qualified natural-born citizen and is ineligible to assume the office of President of the United States.’ ” (more…)

Obama Did not Have a US Passport before 2005

It seems every few days there is a new revelation that makes it more glaringly obvious that Obama does not meet the Constitutional requirements to be President. The Constitution requires that a president must be at least 35 years of age and a natural born US citizen. There has been much discussion of Obama being born in Kenya. The most recent news story reports that a Kenyan ambassador stated that Obama was born in Kenya. But there is an equally relevant argument against Obama, that involves his time in Indonesia and whether Obama became an Indonesian citizen and traveled on an Indonesian passport.

In the original lawsuit by Philip J. Berg, Obama’s time in an Indonesian school –which only allowed Indonesian citizens– was discussed. Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship so Barack Obama would have had to give up his US citizenship. Berg noted that Barack was adopted by his stepfather Lolo Soetoro, which would have bestowed Indonesian citizenship on him. It seems Obama’s mother played fast and loose with the law. Apparently she never told US authorities that her son was adopted by an Indonesian (and thereby renounced his US citizenship) so Barack avoided having to reapply for US citizenship. His mother may also have lied to US authorities back in 1961, telling them that Barack was born at home after bringing him back from Kenya, scamming US citizenship for him.

An article on WorldNetDaily reports “…beyond the birth certificate issue, there’s the matter that Obama traveled to Indonesia, Pakistan, Southern India and Kenya in 1981. He said he went to Indonesia to see his mother. This seemed plausible, except for the fact that his mother returned to Hawaii in August of 1980 to file for a divorce from her second husband, Lolo Soetoro. Unless she went back to pal around with the man she divorced, she wasn’t there at the time of Obama’s visit. There’s another problem. No record of Obama holding an American passport prior to the one he received once becoming a U.S. senator has been found. If he traveled to Pakistan with an American passport, he wouldn’t have been allowed in – since Pakistan was in turmoil in 1981 and under martial law. It was also on the State Department’s travel ban list for U.S. citizens. If he couldn’t get into Pakistan with a U.S. passport, perhaps he went there with an Indonesian passport. But the only way you can get one of those is if you are an Indonesian citizen. That’s quite possible since under Indonesian law, when a male acknowledges a child as his son, it deems the son – in this case Obama – to be an Indonesian state citizen, which was also recorded by Obama’s school record. So, if he didn’t go to Indonesia in 1981 to visit mom (who had returned to Hawaii by then), might it have something to do with the fact that Indonesian passports expire every five years and it was time for renewal?” (more…)

Obama’s Legalese for Babies the State Wanted Dead

Perhaps the greatest omen of how someone will rule can be found in how they treat the most vulnerable in society. The liberal media has covered up a multitude of sins regarding Barack Obama to preserve his “nice guy” image that millions of liberals and moderates have completely bought into. Well, how would these Americans regard Mr. Obama if they knew that he once referred to a baby, who was alive outside the womb, as only “temporarily alive” or as a “pre-viable fetus”?

An article from HumanEvents.com reports “The Obama-O’Malley debate was a defining moment for Obama because it dealt with such a fundamental issue: The state’s duty to protect the civil rights of the young and disabled… Eight years ago, nurse Jill Stanek went public about the ‘induced-labor abortions’ performed at the Illinois hospital where she worked. Often done on Down syndrome babies, the procedure involved medicating the mother to cause premature labor. Babies who survived this, Stanek testified in the U.S. Congress, were brought to a soiled linen room and left alone to die without care or comforting. Then-Illinois state Sen. Patrick O’Malley, whom I interviewed this week, contacted the state attorney general’s office to see whether existing laws protected a newborn abortion-survivor’s rights as a U.S. citizen. He was told they did not. So, O’Malley — a lawyer, veteran lawmaker and colleague of Obama on the Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee — drafted legislation…. ‘This legislation was about preventing conduct that allowed infanticide to take place in the state of Illinois,’ O’Malley told me… The Judiciary Committee approved the bills with Obama in opposition. On March 31, 2001, they came up on the Illinois senate floor. Only one member spoke against them: Obama. ‘Nobody else said anything,’ O’Malley recalls. The official transcript validates this. ‘Sen. O’Malley,’ Obama said near the beginning of the discussion, ‘the testimony during the committee indicated that one of the key concerns was — is that there was a method of abortion, an induced abortion, where the — the fetus or child, as — as some might describe it, is still temporarily alive outside the womb.’ Obama made three crucial concessions here: the legislation was about 1) a human being, who was 2) ‘alive’ and 3) ‘outside the womb.’ …Obama came up with yet another term to describe the human being who would be protected by O’Malley’s bills. The abortion survivor became a ‘pre-viable fetus.’ “ (more…)

Poetic Justice: AP Cuts Jobs by Ten Percent

Associated Press Helped Elect Obama; Now AP Is Losing Jobs Thanks to Obama.

The mainstream media practically carried Barack Hussein Obama into the Oval Office thanks to their persistent refusal to do their job and investigate his mysterious and possibly criminal background, including shady financial dealings and drug use. Now all that “bad karma” has manifested itself as they fall victim to the increasing financial collapse –which Obama played a key role in causing when he filed a lawsuit on behalf of ACORN to force banks to make more minority subprime loans. This of course was one of many news stories AP swept under the rug –along with Obama’s support of partial birth abortion and the many Communists and Marxists in Obama’s past, so they could help elect the first mulatto president.

A Reuters article reports “The Associated Press plans to cut up to 10 percent of its workforce in 2009, according to sources at the news service, as it copes with tough financial times and ailing member newspapers. The AP has one of the world’s largest news-gathering teams, employing about 3,000 journalists, and a total of about 4,100 people worldwide. The cuts could amount to about 400 employees… It is unclear how the cuts would affect the AP’s news flow. Many U.S. residents cannot read a day’s helping of news in print or on the Internet without encountering an AP story. The group has 240 bureaus worldwide, numerous local U.S. bureaus and 1,500 U.S. daily paper members… The AP, which started 162 years ago as a newsgathering cooperative for U.S. papers, earlier this year revised its rate structure for member papers to help lower the fees that they pay as advertising revenue declines imperil publishers.”

Revenues are declining because newspaper advertising is way down. Millions of people advertise a wide range of things on Internet websites like CraigsList.com instead of paying excessive rates for a shrinking audience of newspaper readers. Perhaps Associated Press reporters may soon be telling us about similar job cuts at Reuters. (more…)

A Few Steps Closer to Immortality

I am astounded that more public attention isn’t being paid to the research now being done by scientists, mostly White and in the Western world, into the possibility of greatly extending human life or possibly even eliminating death altogether. I suspect that the Powers-That-Be don’t want the public at large to understand that it is possible we may discover some kind of fountain of youth through genetic engineering within the next few decades.

The Daily Telegraph of London reports: “Researchers believe boosting the amount of a naturally forming enzyme in the body could prevent cells dying and so lead to extended, healthier, lifespans… The protein telomerase helps maintain the protective caps at the ends of chromosomes which act like the ends of shoelaces and stop them unravelling. As we age, and our cells divide, these caps become frayed and shorter and eventually are so damaged that the cell dies. Scientists believe boosting our natural levels of telomerase could rejuvenate them. A team at the Spanish National Cancer Centre in Madrid tested the theory on mice and found that those genetically engineered to produce 10 times the normal levels of telomerase lived 50 per cent longer than normal… Maria Blasco, who led the research, told the New Scientist said that the enzyme was capable of turning ‘a normal, mortal cell into an immortal cell’. She added that she was optimistic that a similar approach may eventually lead to extended human lifespans - though she urged caution. ‘You can delay the ageing of mice and increase their lifespan,’ she said. ‘But I think it is very hard to extrapolate data from mouse ageing to human ageing.’”

The fact is that once some practical form of immortality is discovered, it will present an almost insurmountable problem to our political and corporate elite. Naturally the rich and famous will get the first access to these wonder drugs and genetic engineering. But who else will get access?
