Four Recent Polls Place McCain within 4 Percent of Obama

If you listen to the mainstream media, you’d think the presidential election were already over. While it’s true that Obama had a spike in popularity when the Stock Market was plunging two weeks ago, a number of recent polls show a significant change. There have been four polls since Oct. 17th, showing McCain within four percent of Obama.
We know that “Joe the Plumber” and Obama’s “spread the wealth around” remark have cost Obama several percent in the polls. As we get closer to election day, many Americans may be breaking out of their “Obama trance” and realizing that he’s nothing more than another tax-and-spend liberal, whose policies will almost certainly prolong the emerging recession if he’s elected.
The most recent presidential poll by AP released on Wednesday Oct. 22nd reports “Obama at 44 percent and McCain at 43 percent.” Funny how none of the mainstream media is reporting on this remarkably close poll.
An Oct. 19th Reuters article reports “Democrat Barack Obama’s lead over Republican John McCain in the presidential race has dropped to 3 points, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday.” (more…)
