Obama’s Birth in Kenya

There has been a tremendous buzz in some right wing circles about the possibility that Barack Obama was NOT born in the US. Let’s consider the union that produced Barack Obama. Barack’s mother was 17 years old when she was impregnated by Barack Hussein Obama Senior. In 1961, you had to be 21 years old to vote and be considered an adult. In many states in 1961 (and even much later) an adult man having sex with a 17 year old girl would have been statutory rape. Barack Obama Jr. was born sometime around early August 1961, allegedly Aug. 4th.

There is apparently some controversy about when or if Barack’s parents had ever been married. The “official” story from the Obama camp is that Barack’s parents were married in February 1961, which would have been about three months into the pregnancy. If this marriage did take place, there’s an issue about Barack Obama Senior still being married to another woman in Kenya.

One website notes “Michelle Obama contradicted the embedded story-line of her husband’s biography Thursday, as reported by The Huffington Post: His own mother, she said at the beginning of her remarks, was ‘very young and very single when she had him.’ Oops, Michelle forgot the script. But she confirmed my suspicions that Barack’s parents were NOT married when he was born, and were not even together.”
