Can We Force McCain to Do our Will?

Can a Contract with Conservative America Rein in McCain?

by James Buchanan

John McCain

I have a curious idea. I’m not sure if it has a prayer, but why not use McCain’s flip-flopping back-stabbing nature for our benefit? He’ll basically do anything to win. His appointment of Sarah Palin seems to be an attempt to get conservative and far right Pat Buchanan voters in his camp. Unfortunately, having a conservative VP does not guarantee that McCain will do what we want him to.

Why not draw up a contract to force McCain to stay within certain limits that conservative voters want? Violation of the contract would constitute a severe breach of public trust, which McCain would agree in writing as grounds for Impeachment.

What should we demand McCain do? Well, we know what we don’t want him to do. We don’t want McCain to grant the illegal aliens an Amnesty. We don’t want a war on Iran, and we don’t want to be in Iraq for 100 years. (more…)
