Why the US Won’t Leave Iraq

US Troops in Iraq

A recent news story reports “(Iraqi Vice President) Abdel-Mahdi told the pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat that the Iraqi government was seeking in ongoing negotiations with Washington to end unlimited powers and sovereign rights that the US-led multinational troops have, including immunity from prosecution. Whether these troops leave Iraq or stay there, their presence has to be brought under Iraqi control, the Shia vice-president said. ‘A country like Iraq - one of the founders of the UN - cannot be placed under occupation in the 21st Century. The US military commander (in Iraq) can arrest any Iraq citizen while we can not arrest any US soldier even if he commits the worst of crimes,’ Abdel-Mahdi added.”

The neocons have endlessly told us that if we leave Iraq too quickly; chaos will break out there –as if dozens of bombings every day and a growing rebel uprising is something to be proud of. Never mind the fact that the invasion of Iraq was ILLEGAL, and that by International law, the US should withdraw all forces from Iraq immediately and restore the previous government (which we illegally executed).

As usual, the neocons are lying to us again. They lied about the “need” to invade Iraq, and they’re lying about what will happen if we leave. The British tried occupying Iraq in the 1920s. A rebel movement rose up to drive out the British. As soon as the occupying army left, Iraq returned to being a stable sovereign nation. (more…)

Airline Passengers May Be Forced to Wear Stun Bracelets

by James Buchanan

Many Americans may remember the Star Trek episode in which the landing party is taken prisoner and fitted with the “collar of obedience” which caused the wearer incredible pain if they did not do everything they were told. Well, guess what Homeland Security is thinking about doing to airline passengers? You know, those poor saps, who are routinely forced to take off their shoes on command, stand around for hours and suffer a secondary inspection and maybe a strip search at the whim of some inept federal goon. Airline passengers may soon be forced to wear a stun bracelet that can be activated by the air crew of a plane. The fact that “our” government would even consider forcing airline passengers to wear stun bracelets is yet another sign that we desperately need to replace both political parties with a third party that represents our interests.

A recent Washington Post article reports “A senior government official with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has expressed great interest in a so-called safety bracelet that would serve as a stun device, similar to that of a police Taser®. According to this promotional video found at the Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. website, the bracelet would be worn by all airline passengers.

This bracelet would:

• Take the place of an airline boarding pass

• Contain personal information about the traveler

• Be able to monitor the whereabouts of each passenger and his/her luggage

• Shock the wearer on command, completely immobilizing him/her for several minutes

The Electronic ID Bracelet, as it’s referred to, would be worn by every traveler ‘until they disembark the flight at their destination.’ Yes, you read that correctly. Every airline passenger would be tracked by a government-funded GPS, containing personal, private and confidential information, and would shock the customer worse than an electronic dog collar if the passenger got out of line.” (more…)

Did Jewish Owners Get Soft Treatment from ICE?

by Ian Mosley

Remember that big kosher meat packing plant in Postville, Iowa, run by Hasidic Jews from New York. The one that was busted a couple of months ago for working hundreds of illegal aliens. Well, guess who gets to take the fall? Will it be the Jewish owners or some low-level Gentile scapegoats?

The New York Times reports: “Two supervisors at a kosher meatpacking plant in Iowa where hundreds of illegal immigrants were rounded up in May were arrested Thursday on criminal immigration charges. Federal prosecutors said they had also issued an arrest warrant for a third man described by workers as a plant manager… The supervisors, Juan Carlos Guerrero Espinoza and Martin De la Rosa Loera, were arrested at the Agriprocessors plant in Postville, prosecutors said. They were the first employees who were not rank-and-file workers to be arrested since 389 illegal immigrants were rounded up at the plant on May 12, said Bob Teig, a spokesman for the United States attorney for the Northern District of Iowa. Federal authorities called the raid the largest enforcement operation by immigration authorities at a single workplace. Unions and immigrant advocacy groups had criticized immigration officials for focusing arrests on workers while taking no action against top managers.”

The top managers were Hasidic Jews from New York. Hmmm…could there possibly be a connection between that fact and their immunity from prosecution? (more…)

Big Brother Takes another Stride Forwards

George Orwell's Big Brother

It isn’t just what books we’re checking out of the library or what kind of soup we buy at the Safeway that’s being recorded forever into a hundred different databases. Our preference for certain youtube videos is soon to be recorded.

A New York Times article reports “A federal judge in New York has ordered Google to turn over to Viacom a database linking users of YouTube, the Web’s largest video site by far, with every clip they have watched there. The order raised concerns among users and privacy advocates that the online video viewing habits of tens of millions of people could be exposed. But Google and Viacom said they were hoping to come up with a way to protect the anonymity of YouTube viewers.”

How can Google turn over a list of names while “protecting their privacy?” That’s oxymoronic babble. It can’t be done. It’s like being a little bit pregnant. (more…)

US Bombs another Wedding in Afghanistan

by Charles Coughlin

What’s possibly the worst thing you can do to tick off a native population and ruin any chance of a successful occupation? Some may answer setting up secret prisons and torture facilities. But there’s something worse: Bombing a wedding party.

A BBC article reports “At least 20 people have been killed in a missile strike by coalition forces in Afghan’s eastern Nangarhar province. Local people say that the group was a wedding party and that most of the dead were women and children. But the US has denied this, saying those killed were militants involved in previous mortar attacks on a Nato base. Meanwhile Afghan President Hamid Karzai has ordered an investigation into a missile attack by US helicopters on Friday in which 15 people died. The BBC’s Martin Patience in Kabul says the issue of civilian casualties is hugely sensitive in Afghanistan.”

If this were the only time the US bombed a wedding party, then it might be believable as an accident. Unfortunately this is at least the third time that a wedding party has reportedly been bombed. Either we’re bombing these wedding parties deliberately or our soldiers are so culturally inept that they keep making the same mistake over and over. (more…)

Obama Got “Discount” on Home Loan

by Jeff Davis

Obama supporter

Slowly, hesitantly, tentatively, a few of the mainstream news media outlets are beginning to do their job and investigate Barack Obama. Initial indications are he’s just another corrupt, self-promoting politician. Unfortunately the media are still wearing their “kid gloves” whenever his name comes up.

Obama worked for a law firm that did civil rights litigation and neighborhood economic development. I guess that means using our taxpayer dollars to build more ghetto high rises and suing any employer, that an uppity Negro had a complaint about.

One source notes “The publicity from his election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations.[19] In an effort to recruit him to their faculty, the University of Chicago Law School provided Obama with a fellowship and an office to work on his book.[19] He originally planned to finish the book in one year, but it took much longer as the book evolved into a personal memoir. In order to work without interruptions, Obama and his wife, Michelle, traveled to Bali where he wrote for several months. The manuscript was finally published as Dreams from My Father in mid-1995.”

So, just because a bunch of liberals at Harvard voted Obama to be the first Black president of the Harvard Law Review (essentially winning a popularity contest), Obama apparently got a lucrative contract to write a book. The book was supposed to be on race-relations, but Obama instead wrote a self-promoting book called “Dreams from my Father.” It’s not clear from the title if he means his Kenyan father who disappeared after two years or his Indonesian father, whom his mother hooked up with after the African daddy disappeared. Jesse Helms RIP, Fought Racial Quotas

by James Buchanan

A Reuters article reports “Jesse Helms, a die-hard anti-communist firebrand who championed a wide range of conservative causes in his 30 years in the U.S. Senate, died early on Friday, aged 86… A blunt-talking product of the Old South, the lawmaker from North Carolina was known as “Senator No” for opposing just about anything that obstructed his conservative view of the world. He retired in 2003 after five terms in the Senate… For years, Helms played a key role in U.S. foreign policy as chairman of the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, embracing a strong U.S. national defense and what he regarded as a moral foreign policy. This made the Republican curmudgeon a hero to fellow American conservatives… His name became synonymous with social conservatism.”

Senator Helms retired with declining health as neocons hijacked the Republican Party and its foreign policy. Two months after Helms retired, Bush launched his illegal neocon war on Iraq, which has wrecked the Republican Party in recent years, resulting in the loss of Congress in 2006 and caused the current political situation with polls predicting a blow out Republican defeat in 2008 –once again due largely to the illegal Iraq War.

Jesse Helms was one of the few politicians brave enough to speak out publicly against anti-White racial quotas (also known as Affirmative Action). Millions of jobs and promotions have been stolen from better-qualified Whites and given to Blacks and Latinos to appease the minorities and liberal hypocrites, who complained about anti-Black discrimination, but who put into law anti-White discrimination, which victimized thousands of times more people. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been stolen from Whites due to this massive theft of jobs and promotions. American industry has been badly handicapped as large numbers of incompetent minorities have been forced upon every major US company while Japanese and European companies are able to compete using the most talented people, not quota-hires brought on board for belonging to a swarthy-colored race. Grave Robbing Makes a Comeback

by Ian Mosley

Two hundred years ago, gangs of ghouls called “Resurrection Men” crept through the foggy night in Britain and in America, stealthily unearthing the coffins of the newly buried dead and stealing their bodies for sale to medical schools and doctors who needed specimens for medical experimentation. Mary Shelley’s novel “Frankenstein” was written at about the time when this practice became prevalent. The Frankenstein story had its “Igor” doing this.

Now, the Resurrection Men are back. According to a St. Louis Today article “Grave robbing has become an above-ground affair. Gone are the days when enterprising thieves would dig up an old grave and pillage for gold teeth and rings. Today, it’s mostly the bronze markers and flower vases that draw their attention. Rising scrap metal prices, coupled with the lagging economy, have triggered a string of cemetery thefts both locally and across the nation.”

The ghouls also target brass and copper fittings on caskets and funeral laying-out clothing, which is usually the deceased man’s best suit, although these being lazy Generation X thieves, they get these things by breaking into funeral homes at night, and not by good old-fashioned digging by the light of the moon. 600 Starbucks to Close

Kiss your double espresso, third milk, third foam, cappuccino grande good bye.

by Jeff Davis

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer informs us: “Starbucks Corp. said Tuesday it will close 600 company-operated stores in the next year, up dramatically from its previous plan for 100 closures, a sign the coffee shop operator continues to struggle with the faltering U.S. economy and its own rapid expansion. Seventy percent of the stores slated for closure had opened after the start of 2006…To put it another way, Starbucks is closing 19 percent of all U.S. company-operated stores that opened in the last two years.”

Egads! Does that mean that Americans might have to re-adjust once more to a world wherein there is not a Starbucks on every corner? It’s the end of civilization as we know it!

Back to the PI: “About 12,000 workers, or 7 percent of Starbucks’ global work force, will be affected by the closings, which are expected to take place between late July and the middle of 2009…most of the employees will be moved to nearby stores… The 500 additional stores set to be closed had been on an internal watch list for some time. They were not profitable, not expected to be profitable in the foreseeable future, and the “vast majority” had been opened near an existing company-operated Starbucks.” (more…)

Google Is Shutting Down Anti-Obama Blogs

by Ian Mosley

Obama Supporter

Internet news commentator Warner Todd Huston’s latest article reports “It looks like Google has officially joined the Barack Obama campaign, and decided that its contribution will be to shut down any blog on the Google-owned Blogspot.com blogging system that has an anti-Obama message. …Google has begun to go through its many thousands of blogs to lock out the owners of anti-Obama blogs so that the noObama message is effectively squelched. Thus far, Google has terminated the access by blog owners to 7 such sites and the list may be growing.”

The “blogosphere” has become a powerful and influential propaganda weapon, and it is understandable why the mysterious and as yet unidentified forces which are behind the Barack Obama phenomenon would want to deny access to the blogosphere to anyone who is critical of their new, American cult figure.

The article continues “It isn’t just conservative sites that Google’s Blogger platform is eliminating. For instance, www.comealongway.blogspot.com has been frozen and this one is a Hillary-supporting site….All I can say is, WOW! If Google is willing to abuse its power like this even against fellow leftists, what does it plan against conservatives, the folks Google hates even more!? …So, it looks like what we have here is an Obama dirty trick to shut down political opposition. Looks like Obmatons aren’t much for that whole democracy thing, eh?”

It is still unclear exactly what is going on in the upper echelons of power with the Obama phenomenon, but someone has tapped this young Black nobody for the gold ring, and that someone has power to spare. The media has convinced millions of people to donate to Obama. Most of Obama’s popularity comes from the fact that he has stolen the anti-war issue from Ron Paul even though it’s dubious whether he will end the war any sooner than McCain. Whoever it is backing Obama also appears to have enough juice to lean on Google and start shutting down opposition on the Internet. Hopefully it’s just hackers who are friendly to Obama. Hopefully it’s not the government paving the way for the next CFR-approved two-party stooge.
