The Handwriting On The Wall

An article in U.S. News and World Report notes “Two cases of hate graffiti in the residence halls, one homophobic and the other anti-Semitic, were reported to Stanford University before the winter holiday, the Stanford Daily reports. The anti-Semitic scrawling on a dorm wall cost the school $100 to remove and prompted officials to show an informative video. Meanwhile, the victim of the homophobic death threat has accused the university of mishandling the situation. The school is still investigating both incidents.”
It seems we are seeing more and more of this. Someone writes a politically incorrect word or two on the wall, and the Establishment reacts like a lynching just took place. Sometimes you’d think someone set off a truck bomb outside the administration building judging by the frantic liberal hysteria and overreactions that often ensue. (more…)
