Yes, Ron Paul Can Win!
A Zogby poll gave Ron Paul 33%

On the eve of the Iowa primary, millions of Americans are still scratching their heads wondering if Ron Paul can win the Republican primary. They’ve heard Paul propose some great things like abolishing the IRS, but they keep hearing the mainstream media quote poll results, that are discouraging. Meanwhile, a Zogby poll that gave Ron Paul 33 percent and first place in the crowded field of GOP candidates has been air-brushed out of any political news reporting.
There is one very important thing to remember about polls. Pollsters don’t do polls unless someone pays them to do polls. If a group called “Neocons for War” shows up and asks for a poll, they can dictate what questions will be asked in a specific poll, and anyone with any knowledge of polling can tell you a carefully worded poll can heavily slant the results. These polls are often reported simply as a Rasmussen poll or a Gallup poll with no mention of the highly biased sponsor of the poll. As an example of extreme bias, in one poll, if the respondent said he supported Ron Paul, the next question would be on a sexual topic. If the respondent hung up, his pro-Ron Paul vote was discarded.
There has only been one clearly-worded poll by Zogby that we know of. Alex Jones paid for this Zogby poll and that is why we actually know what went into the polling questions. The results of this Zogby poll of over 1,000 Americans was that 33 percent of Americans support Ron Paul, while second place went to Rudy Giuliani, who got 19 percent. (more…)
