I assume that most readers are at least vaguely familiar with the Harry Potter book/movie phenomenon. The movies were seen by most people as harmless fantasy stuff (although a few people complained about the sorcery business). There is in fact a more solidly grounded reason for normal white people to object to the Harry Potter series: It is blatantly left-wing and increasingly multi-racial. While the first movie had few non-Whites, later movies shoe-horned more and more Third Worlders into the plot. One movie has the hero, young Harry Potter, engaging in a brief interracial relationship with a very dark-skinned Indian. It would appear now that there is even more reason for people to quietly fish those Harry Potter books out of your kids’ rooms and drop them in the dumpster.

The Associated Press reports: “Harry Potter fans, the rumors are true: Albus Dumbledore, master wizard and Headmaster of Hogwarts, is gay. J.K. Rowling, author of the mega-selling fantasy series that ended last summer, outed the beloved character Friday night while appearing before a full house at Carnegie Hall. After reading briefly from the final book, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,’ she took questions from audience members. She was asked by one young fan whether Dumbledore finds true love. ‘Dumbledore is gay,’ the author responded to gasps and applause. She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. ‘Falling in love can blind us to an extent,’ Rowling said of Dumbledore’s feelings, adding that Dumbledore was ‘horribly, terribly let down.’ Dumbledore’s love, she observed, was his great tragedy.”

We haven’t had a good old-fashioned, gross, nauseating black crime story for some time, so how about this one from Miami, Florida… The Associated Press reports: “A judge sentenced a [black] man to death Monday, nearly nine years after he left a 5-year-old girl to be eaten alive by alligators in the Everglades and tried to kill her mother. Harrel Franklin Braddy, 58, attacked Shandelle Maycock and daughter Quatisha after he was released early from prison for good behavior in another case. He was convicted in July of first-degree murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, attempted escape and other charges.”

The AP article continues: “Judge Leonard E. Glick also sentenced Braddy to three consecutive life terms on the kidnapping and burglary with an assault charges. He also got 30 years in prison on the attempted murder of Shandelle, 15 years on child neglect causing great bodily harm and five years on attempted escape… Prosecutors said Braddy tossed Maycock in the trunk of his car in 1998 and drove her to a remote sugarcane field, choked her to unconsciousness and left her to die. She never saw her child again. Braddy drove the girl to a section of Interstate 75 in the Everglades known as Alligator Alley and dropped her in the water beside the road, prosecutors said. She was alive when alligators bit her on the head and stomach, a medical examiner said. Authorities found the girl’s body two days later, her left arm missing and her skull crushed, prosecutors said. Maycock woke up bleeding and disoriented, but managed to flag down help.” (more…)

Neoconservative sponsored thought crime resolution HR 1955 turns patriotic Americans into terrorists

It’s said that the final sign of disenfranchisement is when the population begins to fear their leaders. Representative Jane Harman (pictured), the lead sponsor of HR 1955 (titled the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007), is not only a favored ambassador of the most powerful Israeli lobbies in Washington but also tied to the hierarchy of the global elite.

Harman, a 62 year old from California, was the ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in the 109th Congress. Fox News reported in October of 2006 that Harman was under investigation from the FBI for brokering political deals with AIPAC in exchange for enlisting powerful donors to lobby for her to become Chair of the Intelligence Committee in the 110th Congress. So what did Harman, one of the few Democrats who is publicly friendly with the Bush administration, promise in exchange for one of the most powerful positions in Congress? According to the Washington Post, the Congresswoman was to use her connections with the Administration in order to get the Justice Department to only “slap the wrists” of two high level AIPAC lobbyists charged with violating the Espionage Act.
