Huckabee Lies to Christian Conference

by Charles Coughlin

Another corrupt, lying, crooked governor from Arkansas

What do you do when you are an Open Borders advocate, who wants to turn every city in America into a run-down Tiajuana slum and you have to talk to a group of ordinary Christian Americans? Well, if your name is Mike Huckabee, you stand up there and LIE right to their faces.

Mike Huckabee had the nerve to claim that he’s all for “securing the border.” Somehow he failed to mention that he thinks it’s “un-Christian” to deny benefits to people, who have illegally entered the US and that he won’t consider deporting the 20 million illegals in the US today.

One biography of Huckabee notes “Huckabee has been criticized for supporting illegal immigration. In his 2005 State of the State address, he complained that a Hispanic student was not able to get financial aid because he was an illegal alien. Huckabee said: ‘But when he applied for financial aid, he wasn’t eligible for the various scholarships or grants because of his status, a status that he had no decision in or control over.’ Huckabee vehemently opposed a 2005 bill sponsored by Arkansas State Senator Jim Holt which would deny state benefits to illegal immigrants, calling it ‘un-Christian.’ Huckabee argued that illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than they receive in benefits: ‘They pay fuel taxes. If they’re using a fake Social Security number, they’re paying Social Security taxes and will never receive any benefit. It would be closer to the truth to say they’re subsidizing Joe McCutchen and Jim Holt more than the other way around.’ ”

Not only is Mike Huckabee shamefully pro-illegal alien; he is a fantastic liar too. Huckabee repeats the lies of the Open Borders crowd claiming that illegals are paying their way in taxes. This claim is total garbage. California loses an estimate FIVE BILLION DOLLARS per year on illegal aliens. Does that sound like they’re paying their way??? Most illegals work for cash on the black market paying NOTHING in taxes. Mike Huckabee is either a liar or a complete idiot. Either way, he’s not qualified to be president because he doesn’t take the right side of this vital issue. (more…)

Alarming Economic Signs

by James Buchanan

Great Depression 1929-1941

The Dow Jones dropped 367 points on Friday and 571 points for the week, but these recent drops may just be the tip of the iceberg. Much more alarming is the ever-increasing price of gold, which hit a twenty year high of $771 per ounce. Investors always buy gold (and run up the price) when they lose confidence in the economy. On top of all this, the home mortgage industry continues to be in bad shape.

A recent news article reports “September homes sales in Northern California sunk to their lowest level in two decades as mortgages became harder to get, a real estate research firm said Thursday. A total of 5,014 new and resale homes and condos were sold last month in nine San Francisco Bay area counties — a 40 percent decrease from the same period a year ago, according to DataQuick Information Systems… Sales plunged 31.3 percent from August as lenders, stung by a nationwide credit crunch, put the brakes on many loans above the $417,000 mark, or so-called ‘jumbo’ loans. Some of those jumbo mortgages are being written, but credit requirements have tightened and interest rates have risen, DataQuick reported. The month before was not much better, NBC11 reported. New home sales in California fell nearly 45 percent in August compared to August 2006,”

Unfortunately the cost of a perfectly ordinary house exceeds $417,000 in much of America today so these restrictions are going to influence many ordinary people trying to buy a home. The home loan crisis will be disastrous for a few people, but overall a huge plunge in home values won’t change things much –at least for home-owners. People will just stay living in their same old homes. People buying homes will just keep paying their mortgages. The crisis will be bad for real estate agents and bankers, but they’ve been so over-paid for so long, they aren’t going to starve if home sales drop to zero for a while. The people, who will be badly affected by a slump in sales, are folks in the construction industry. If young families can’t qualify to get the loans to buy an (overpriced) new home, then construction firms will quit building new homes. Why build a house if you can’t sell it for a decent profit? The Unelectable Mike Huckabee

Mike Huckabee pro-Amnesty and political fat cat at heart

His Open Borders, pro-Amnesty position guarantees failure.

by James Buchanan

Virtually all of Mike Huckabee’s support in the polls is coming from ordinary Christians, who aren’t sure who to support. Unfortunately, the Reverend Huckabee has little going for him other than the “Reverend” in front of his name. Huckabee has repeatedly voiced his support for illegal aliens. One source reports “Huckabee vehemently opposed a 2005 bill sponsored by Arkansas State Senator Jim Holt which would deny state benefits to illegal immigrants, calling it ‘un-Christian.’ ” A similar bill in California, Proposition 187, passed by a landslide vote. Seems like Huckabee is to the left of most Americans, even liberal Californians.

RP poll Oct 13th

Meanwhile, Huckabee doesn’t consider it “un-Christian” for millions of foreign invaders to break our immigration laws and shove their children into our public schools at great expense to us taxpayers and an even worse cost to our children. Huckabee doesn’t care if the public schools have standing room only. Huckabee doesn’t care if American parents are told that their local public school is “full.” Huckabee doesn’t care if millions of poor illegal aliens from Central America burn up so much federal money (in food stamps and other services) that Medicare and Social Security go broke.

It’s only “un-Christian” in the mind of Mike Huckabee, if we Americans insist that our immigration laws be enforced and that Mexico’s poor aren’t dumped onto our infra-structure at a high cost to us in both taxes and quality of life.

It seems like the top leaders of organized Christianity are not too fond of Mike Huckabee. His failure to raise a significant amount of money in the third quarter is an almost certain guarantee of failure. The leaders of organized Christianity want to back a winner, not a loser.

The top GOP contenders Romney, McCain, Giuliani and Thompson are all so much toxic waste to ordinary Christians. Giuliani has changed wives more times than he’s flip-flopped his stand on abortion. Fred Thompson tossed out his old wife for a trophy wife. James Dobson openly doubts whether Thompson is a Christian. McCain tossed out the wife who waited for him while he was a POW in favor of a trophy wife. Romney’s Mormon religion is more than a little alarming to the likes of Pat Robertson and James Dobson.

This leaves just one man, whom organized Christianity could back, who has raised enough money to run a credible campaign, who has led a nearly perfect personal life by Christian standards and who already has an enthusiastic mass following. That man is Ron Paul. (more…)

Ron Paul Could Run 75 Nation-Wide Ads for $1 Million

by James Buchanan

Possible still frame from Ron Paul ad

It seems like the Ron Paul Campaign has a pat response to anyone who suggests that they run nation-wide ads now. They just keep saying “It’s too expensive.” If you leave a message for the campaign finance manager, you don’t get a call back.

This is a bizarre response. If you’re running in a nation-wide political race and you can’t afford national advertising, then you might as well give up.

The truth is that Ron Paul is running his campaign much like Giuliani or Romney, saving up money for a last minute push. Unfortunately, Ron Paul is NOT going to win if he runs his campaign like everyone else.

Ron Paul is unique and has a huge appeal. While it’s true other candidates have received donations which are less than what they’ve spent on ads; Ron Paul is the only candidate who is likely to receive MORE back in contributions relative to what he spends on ads. The key point is to run nation-wide ads EARLY while it will still do some good. Ron Paul also needs to raise his percentage support to something respectable –like 15 percent– as soon as possible.

The Ron Paul campaign is in serious trouble right now. The polls claim that he is only at “one to three percent.” Even if you assume this number is under-reporting things by two or three times, Ron Paul is still in the single digits. This is unacceptable. Something has to be done. (more…)

Scientists announce artificial life on the horizon.

by Ian Mosley

Bacteria

According to the Guardian newspaper in Great Britain: “Craig Venter, the controversial DNA researcher involved in the race to decipher the human genetic code, has built a synthetic chromosome out of laboratory chemicals and is poised to announce the creation of the first new artificial life form on Earth. The announcement, which is expected within weeks and could come as early as Monday at the annual meeting of his scientific institute in San Diego, California, will herald a giant leap forward in the development of designer genomes. It is certain to provoke heated debate about the ethics of creating new species and could unlock the door to new energy sources and techniques to combat global warming.”

Global warming? I’m sorry, I don’t get that. Are we going to create a race of human beings who can live and work and play in 130-degree heat without sweating, something like that? Are we to be given gills so we can live in the ocean where it’s nice and cool? Or does everything have to be tied to the cult of Global Warming to get funding these days? (more…)

White Girl Murdered; University Says “No Foul Play”

Murder victim Laura Dickinson

I noticed this story on Court TV. A pretty White girl was sexually assaulted and killed in her dorm room. The suspect is “Orange Taylor III.” One of the Court TV commentators said that Taylor “doesn’t have a prayer” since there’s so much evidence against him. This incident got a lot of press attention because the university covered up the murder claiming that the girl had died of a heart attack.

One news article reports “The trial is scheduled to begin today for former Eastern Michigan University student Orange Taylor III, who is accused of killing student Laura Dickinson, whose death set off a series of events that led to the firing of EMU’s president this summer. Police say Taylor, 21, of Southfield slipped into Dickinson’s Hill Hall dorm room Dec. 13 while she slept, raped her and smothered her with her pillow. Surveillance tape footage captured Taylor exiting the dorm room with one of Dickinson’s Christmas party gift bags, police said. Dickinson’s body was found two days later by a custodian. Dickinson, 22, was naked from the waist down. She had a pillow over her head and what police say is Taylor’s semen on her body. But the university told Dickinson’s family and the campus community that no foul play was suspected.”

Suspected murderer Orange Taylor III

So a healthy White girl gets smothered by a pillow in her dorm room. They find the suspect’s DNA on her body and “no foul play was suspected.” Believe it or not the Black attorney defending Taylor is claiming that the victim was already dead and Taylor just found her body as he was running around looking for some marijuana to buy. (Another stellar Black university student.) (more…)

Europeans Slowly React to Third World Invaders

by Ian Mosley

Third World Invaders

It’s hard to believe, but some European countries are actually worse off with regards to uncontrolled immigration than the US. Slowly, they are being forced kicking and screaming all the way to confront the issue, because unlike the North American continent, there are no vast unsettled spaces in Europe, and nowhere for the native-born whites to run.

As in the United States, the media is playing the sad violins for the poor persecuted little immigrants. A recent Associated Press article is typical: “In the video, 15-year-old Arigona Zogaj’s voice broke as she threatened to kill herself unless her family was reunited in Austria. Her father and four siblings were deported to Kosovo late last month after years of living in Austria. But Arigona, who has managed to elude authorities, said the only person she knew in Kosovo was her grandmother, and that her prospects for the future there were slim. ‘I just want us to be able to continue to live here,’ she said in German while sitting against a white wall in an undisclosed location. The video was given to Austrian broadcaster ORF and surfaced Friday.”

Wasn’t Kosovo supposed to become a “paradise” after the US war against Serbia? You don’t mean an Albanian-controlled Kosovo has become a Third World backwater, and the Albanians would rather die than lose out on the European welfare, they’re getting in places like Austria. (more…)

Immigration Raids Grab 1,300

At least these staged raids are getting bigger.

by Jeff Davis

Illegal Aliens

The Los Angeles Daily News reports that “In what federal authorities are calling the largest sweep of criminal and fugitive immigrants, federal agents over the past two weeks have arrested more than 1,300 Southland immigrants in their homes, in jails and at work, officials announced Wednesday. As part of a stepped-up national crackdown on illegal immigrants, five teams of Immigration and Custom Enforcement agents raided homes in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties from Sept. 19 through Tuesday.”

Notice that the mainstream media almost always uses words like “immigrants” instead of “illegal aliens” or “foreigners.”

The article notes “Some arrests were easy, while others involved agents peering into clothes dryers or squeezing deep into crawl spaces to find hidden suspects. Most of those arrested were from Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala. ‘Too often in the past, (deportation) orders were ignored and aliens thought that after getting an order of removal they could slip back into society,’ said Julie Myers, assistant secretary for ICE. ‘Those days are no longer.’”

Yeah, Julie, pander to that Republican base! Not that we believe a damned word you say, but it is nice to hear the government at least make the correct noises for a change.

The same article continues “Immigrant-rights groups decried the raids for stirring fear in the community, noting that more than 100 of those arrested had no criminal or court record. [I guess immigration law doesn’t count.] Officials said 797 inmates were taken from local jails, including 240 from those overseen by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Ventura County turned over 125 inmates, and the state prison in Lancaster had 41.” (more…)

Diversity Kills Senior Editor for PC World

by Jeff Davis

Woodstock Hippie w. Black

The Associated Press reports: “Three men have been charged with murdering a senior editor for PC World magazine in what police said was an attempt to steal marijuana that the victim’s son grew in their home for medical use. Rex Farrance, 59, the San Francisco-based magazine’s senior technical editor, was shot in the chest on Jan. 9 after masked men broke into his suburban home. Farrance’s wife, Lenore Vantosh-Farrance, was pistol-whipped during the robbery but managed to call 911…Farrance’s relatives believe the killers targeted the home after learning about the marijuana from a friend of the 19-year-old son….’Without regard to the legality of the extensive marijuana-growing operation that was taking place in the residence, we regard Mr. Farrance as an innocent victim in this case,’ said Contra Costa County prosecutor Harold Jewett.”

Okay, so, first question. Who was this kid hanging out with and what color were they? Let’s see:

The AP article continues: “The three men charged Tuesday could face the death penalty if convicted of murder, murder in the commission of a robbery and murder in the commission of a burglary. One, Tremaine Amos, 25, of Bay Point, is serving time for an unrelated conviction. The other two, Darryl Hudson and Montrell Hall, both 23 and from Pittsburg, are being tried this week for robbery in a different case.”

Hmmm, “Tremaine” and “Montrell” sound very African-American to me. Quite a few blacks named “Darryl” too. I think this mystery is solved. (more…)

Ron Paul Still NEEDS to Run Nation-Wide Ads

Oct. 12th is the last chance in some states to register Republican to vote for Ron Paul

by James Buchanan

Great American Ron Paul

The neocons pulled a dirty trick on the Ron Paul campaign. They have moved up the date by which people need to register as Republicans to vote in the Republican primary. For New York and several other states the deadline is Oct. 12th. Changing your registration is relatively easy and can be done here.

Realistically, only Ron Paul is likely to get a lot of cross-over votes from Libertarians and anti-war Democrats. The neocons are stacking the deck to try to make sure that Paul doesn’t win the primary.

The problem with relying on the mainstream media and the Republican debates to wake up people is that this only goes so far. I strongly suspect that it’s the same crowd watching the presidential debates and Ron Paul has already won over as many as he can from them. He needs to stop preaching to the choir and start preaching to the whole nation.

More importantly, Ron Paul’s current fund-raising drive is falling short of its goal. This is another sign that he’s stuck in a rut with the same group of people. The reason the current group of Ron Paul supporters gave him money was so that he would spend it NOW, run some ads and bring in more people.

In advertising you have to spend money to make money. By spending a million dollars on ads this week, Ron Paul could add a few million more people to his campaign and then he would be able to collect two million dollars next week.

Ron Paul has the BIGGEST potential for expanding his support base of any Republican candidate. If anyone could benefit tremendously from running nation-wide ads, it would be him. All the other candidates, Romney, McCain, Giuliani and Thompson have been shoved down our throats to the point where everyone knows about them, but none of them are catching fire with the public because they are all pro-war neocon hacks.
