Who Was the Worst President?

by Charles Coughlin

Bush the Lunatic

The worst president in US history is a close call between Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Lincoln killed 600,000 White Americans with his Civil War, which he provoked after the South peacefully seceded. Slavery would have been obsolete by the 1870s, but Lincoln couldn’t wait that long. Lincoln believed that Americans should die to build his legacy. As the death toll climbed from the thousands to the tens of thousands to the hundreds of thousands, Lincoln the butcher insisted on continuing the war while any sane man would have stopped the slaughter with an armistice. Curiously, Lincoln proposed that slavery could continue in the slave states that sided with the North until the year 1900.

FDR pushed the United States into World War Two, provoking a war by embargoing oil shipments to the Japanese Empire. FDR was the first president to have a large cabal of Jews and closet communists in his inner circle. The US had no reason to intervene in World War Two despite decades of post-war propaganda to the contrary. The Soviets were the real mass murderers, not the Germans. And the victims of the Soviets were 30 million White Christians, but all we hear about is the much-exaggerated suffering of Jews. Americans are brainwashed to believe the completely baseless claim that Jews were “mass murdered” by the Germans while in reality, Jewish commissars in the Soviet Union were the real mass murderers and the victims were White Christians. Radio Host Fired for Opposing Illegal Aliens

Art Cronk

A radio talk show host Art Cronk of News-Talk 1530 WENG in Englewood has resigned from the station rather than obey an order from management to “balance” his coverage on the issue of illegal immigration. A recent news article reports “Art Cronk, a 20-year veteran of News-Talk 1530 WENG, fought in the Vietnam War for his beliefs in freedom of speech. Last week, those beliefs led to his resignation from the Englewood radio station. Cronk, a former Marine, quit WENG Thursday after management told him to give both views of the illegal immigration story, Cronk said Thursday. Cronk said he opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants and has voiced his opinions many times on his hour-long ‘Front and Center’ program, which aired at 2:09 p.m. Monday through Thursday. During the program, Cronk recently asked his listeners to boycott any businesses that supported this month’s immigrant boycott. ‘You’re here legally or you’re here illegally,’ Cronk said. ‘I’ve always said if you’re here legally, God bless you, I hope your American Dream comes true.’ But after station management told him to provide pro-illegal immigrant views, Cronk said he had enough and walked away from radio for good. Cronk said he believed station management received ‘outside pressure’ to have him provide both views.”

Art Cronk enraged the local Mexican community and also big business by asking his listeners to boycott any businesses that supported the May 1st illegal alien rallies. It is clear now: Mexican nationals who have violated the law and crossed the border illegally can use protest or boycott as a political weapon, but native-born Americans cannot. In any case, apparently strong pressure was brought on the radio station. It’s not clear if businesses that hire illegals or the Bush administration applied the pressure to fire the patriotic talk show host. (more…)

The Real Assault on America

by Paul Craig Roberts

Prison Camp

The neoconservative Bush regime has adroitly used 9/11 to create a fear of terrorism among Americans that blinds Americans to the Bush regime’s assault on our constitutional system. Americans have meekly acquiesced to the Bush regime’s brutal assaults on civil liberties, human rights, the separation of powers, and statutory law, because Americans have been brainwashed to believe that the “war on terror” takes precedence and cannot be waged under the rules established by the Founding Fathers.

By elevating its “war on terror” above the U.S. Constitution, the neoconservative Bush regime has made itself a far greater threat to Americans than are foreign terrorists. Two constitutional scholars, Timothy Lynch and Gene Healy, document the Bush regime’s forceful assault on the U.S. Constitution in “Power Surge: The Constitutional Record of George W. Bush” released May 3 by the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. (more…)

America the Needy Third World Country

Hugo Chavez

Venezuela’s president Hugo Chavez is lucky that the neocons in Washington are so bogged down in Iraq. Otherwise his country would be on the short list for “regime change.” Chavez irritated Bush and his Big Oil cohorts by offering low cost oil for poor Americans last winter. The US doesn’t seem so “great” when other nations are in a position to offer it humanitarian aid (with millions of Americans happy to accept it). Curiously, the Germans have sent foreign aid to places like Detroit, but news of “America the needy Third World country” is hard to find on the mainstream news (and impossible to find on Fox). George Bush sees himself as emperor of the world or some holy apocalyptic crusader. In reality Bush and his regime are plagued by scandals and an impeachment is almost certain if the Democrats win back the House in November. Hugo Chavez knows that Bush doesn’t have the extra troops to invade Venezuela –as if an excuse to do so could be reasonably fabricated.

A recent news article reports “Venezuela’s president Hugo Chavez arrives in London today with an extraordinary promise to offer cut-rate heating oil for needy families in Europe, modelled on a similar campaign in the US which has been seen partly as a bid to embarrass President George Bush. Last night Chavez also issued a taunting obituary for the ‘American empire’ on the eve of a visit where he will be shunned by Downing Street but welcomed by London Mayor Ken Livingststone. Chavez said in Vienna yesterday that the ‘final hours of the North American empire have arrived … Now we have to say to the empire: ‘We’re not afraid of you. You’re a paper tiger.’ ‘ Referring to his supply of heating to poor American families last winter, Chavez told a meeting of political supporters: ‘I’d like to do the same here in Europe.’ ” (more…)

DJ Threatens to Molest 4 Year Old

DJ Troi Torain

A recent news article reports “This story is just unbelievable, shocking and disturbing. Clear Channel Radio’s Power 105.1 FM’s DJ Troi Torain (Star) from the “Star & Buc Wild Morning Show” was fired and is being investigated possible bias crime after making threatening racial and sexual remarks about a rival’s wife and 4-year-old daughter. What ever happened to music on the radio? Or at least DJ’s providing some sort of humor instead of this nonsense.”

Threatening sexual abuse of a child is a lot more than “nonsense” and it’s no surprise that the authorities have become involved. Strangely, because his threats were directed against a half-black, half-Asian child, his threats are considered a “hate crime.” Apparently threats against white children are not as “bad” (in the eyes of New York liberals) as threats against minority children. Troi probably could have threatened the entire white kindergarten population of Long Island and gotten away with it. (more…)

Nat. Guard on the Border: Another Bush Deception

by James Buchanan

Bush and his boss

At first it sounds like a dream come true. Imagine the federal government actually doing something about illegal immigration. A recent news article reports “President Bush, trying to build support for a major overhaul of the nation’s tattered immigration laws, said Monday night he would order as many as 6,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. border with Mexico.” If this action had been taken by Ronald Reagan, it would be cause for dancing in the streets and nation-wide celebrations. Unfortunately, George Bush and the whole Bush family is a sorry disappointment when it comes to illegal aliens.

George Bush WILL NOT put significant numbers of National Guard troops on the border to seal off illegal immigration and drug trafficking. Of all the possible troops that could be chosen, the National Guard is possibly the worst-suited for guarding the border. Recruitment has been falling since the Iraq War. Many Guard troops have been horribly wounded. About 75 percent of the Guard’s equipment is in Iraq leaving most remaining Guard troops without night vision, trucks and helicopters, which would help them patrol, spot and haul away illegal aliens. George Bush Writes Letter to Iran President

(While there may be some debate over whether the following letter is a genuine article leaked to the public or a forgery almost indistinguishable from other policy statements from the Bush administration, the public should have the right to decide for themselves. So judge for yourself. –Charles Coughlin)

To: President of Iran
From: President of Amurrica

Mr. Moo-uh Abba-dabba-jen,

Anger Management Case

After carefully listening to a one minute summary prepared by my staff of your recent 18 page letter complaining about so-called wars of aggression by the US, torture and one-sided blind support of Israel, I have decided to write a letter back since -after all- I am the decider.

You clearly do not understand democracy, which is why you are part of the “Axis of Evil.” While you were elected president by a majority of your people, I became president in the year 2000 with a minority of the vote. While your latest election used paper ballots, which allow double checking of the vote, I was elected in 2004 by electronic voting machines in all the key states with no verifiable paper trail. Clearly our democracy is superior to your so-called democracy.

I intend to use the utmost restraint when dealing with your country, Iran. I will not take any rash actions. I will use the same deliberation and careful judgment that I have used before. This is why I plan to hold a prolonged conference with Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Richard Perle and the CEO of Halliburton before deciding if an attack on Iran should take place this summer or after the November election. Battle with Communists

It is fashionable nowadays to announce that Communism is dead everywhere outside the university campus. This is not true, of course–North Korea, Zimbabwe, and Cuba spring to mind–and we tend to forget that there are a number of very active and very murderous Marxist insurgencies operating around the world in places like Indonesia, the Philippines, Nepal and much of South America.

A recent news article reports “The entire municipal council of a town in rural Colombia has resigned and fled to a nearby city, fearing for their lives amid a spate of political killings. All nine council members in the remote, guerrilla-engulfed town of Villavieja stepped down on Tuesday and moved to the city of Neiva, capital of Huila province. ‘I’m afraid, very afraid,’ Council President Edgar Almanza said… 16 council members in three towns have been killed in the region by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, the nation’s largest rebel group. The most brutal attack – in the town of Rivera, 40 miles from Villavieja – saw rebels disguised as police open fire in a hotel where the city council was meeting on Feb. 27, killing 9 members.” (more…)

Zimbabwe Flattens What Little Freedom of the Press Remained

by Ian Mosley

Mugabe

On May 3rd, some media outlets around the world celebrated a UN-sponsored holiday called World Press Freedom Day. (Other media outlets and newspapers didn’t bother. The UN has never been very successful in creating interesting artificial holidays.) Okay, so May 3rd was when the world was supposed to celebrate freedom of the press, where it exists, which nowadays isn’t very far and wide. It doesn’t exist at all in Robert Mugabe’s Marxist dictatorship in Zimbabwe, the former Rhodesia. There journalists who criticize “Comrade Bob” or his cronies, especially foreign journalists, are in for a very rough ride.

Journalists in Zimbabwe have had their basic rights systematically criminalized over the past decade, to the point where it is now for all practical intents and purposes impossible for a newspaper or television reporter to do his job and accurately report to the public what is going on around them. In a recent press statement the Media Institute of Southern Africa, a bunch of left-wing newspaper and TV people in South Africa who issue a lot of press releases under the odd delusion that anyone gives a damn what they have to say, stated: “Sadly for Zimbabwe, the past seven years have seen freedom of expression being downgraded from a right to a privilege that can only be exercised at the benevolence of the authorities.” The obvious solution to Zimbabwe’s problems–military intervention, the forcible removal of Robert Mugabe and his public execution is unthinkable for most Western leaders even though executing Saddam doesn’t seem to bother George Bush or Tony Blair. Why Did Bush Destroy Iraq?

by Paul Craig Roberts

Burning Wreckage in Iraq

March 20 is the third anniversary of the Bush regime’s invasion of Iraq. U.S. military casualties to date are approximately 20,000 killed, wounded, maimed, and disabled. Iraqi civilian casualties number in the tens of thousands. Iraq’s infrastructure is in ruins. Tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed. Fallujah, a city of 300,000 people, had 36,000 of its 50,000 homes destroyed by the U.S. military. Half of the city’s former population are displaced persons living in tents.

Thousands of Iraqis have been detained in prisons, and hundreds have been brutally tortured. America’s reputation in the Muslim world is ruined.

The Bush regime expected a short “cakewalk” war to be followed by the imposition of a puppet government and permanent U.S. military bases. Instead, U.S. military forces are confronted with an insurgency that has denied control over Iraq to the U.S. military. Chaos rules, and civil war may be coming on top of the insurgency. (more…)
