Bush Bungling into World War 3
by Ian Mosley

Israel has already made incursions across the Lebanese border and a full scale invasion appears imminent. Targets throughout Lebanon have already been bombed, including the airport before citizens from the US and Europe could be evacuated. A recent news article reports that Israel was planning for a large scale invasion.
It looks like Israel will invade Lebanon, for the umpteenth time since the bandit state was created in 1948. Once more, Jewish psychopaths armed to the teeth by the United States and your tax dollars will go berserk, slaughtering their neighbors like cattle, burning and looting and bombing and assassinating right, left and center. Israel has already crossed the border at least once. But this time they’re meeting some resistance. During one of their early forays, the Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas managed to knock out an Israeli Abrams tank. This came only a few weeks after militants in Gaza, attacked and knocked out an Israeli tank, capturing its gunner, who became a world famous hostage (while most media left out the part about the lost Israeli tank).
What is happening in the Middle East today is more than just one of their usual outbreaks of tit-for-tat violence. A very sinister construction indeed can be placed on this sudden furor Judaica. It is clearly not spontaneous, but carefully planned, something that’s been in the works for some time.
You may recall George W. Bush and his little cabal of Zionist neocon buddies have been trying to grease the skids for a combined American-Israeli invasion of Iran for almost a year now, but they weren’t getting much traction. Their contempt for the intelligence of Congress and the American people was just a little too blatant this time. They tried to recycle the same absurd and bogus “weapons of mass destruction” lies they used prior to the invasion of Iraq, which now has the bulk of America’s combat forces bogged down in an endless and increasingly pointless occupation. For months now, Bush has been plumping for war with Iran over a nuclear weapons program which may or may not exist. He has been sending Sapphire, er, Condoleezza Rice, all over the world to make silly threats and to put some lipstick on the Iranian war pig by cobbling together some kind of “Second Coalition of Willing” -hopefully not as pathetic as the first rag tag coalition.
But this time, no one is buying, not Congress, not Joe Sixpack and not even our “allies.” (If we have any left other than Bush’s pet poodle Tony Blair.) “Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!” It was becoming obvious that Bush and the neocons simply weren’t getting enough traction to gin up another war.
So what appears to have happened is that the Zionists in Israel have taken it upon themselves to jump-start the process, by starting a fight which we’re going to have to finish–if we can, and there is grave doubt about that. Israel has been making threatening noises at Iran for years, and now they are claiming, without proof or evidence of any kind, that two captured Israeli soldiers have been moved to Iran. Looks like they are going to bamboozle Bush into sending what few troops we have left to Lebanon. You know, the same country where 241 Marines died in a single suicide bomber blast. Somehow, we’ll then be goaded or tricked into a war with Iran.
All that looks nice and neat if you’re a drunken Dubya moving little pieces around a map in the Oval Office like some great board game of Risk. Unfortunately, it won’t work out like that in real life. Iran is a huge country, almost three times the size of Iraq and with four times the population–and we haven’t even been able to subdue Iraq yet. Not to mention a huge army that hasn’t been worn down to a nub by a decade of sanctions like the Iraqis were.
It’s possible that the prolonged occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq could ultimately topple our decadent two party system. (The Soviets didn’t see any serious danger when they chose to invade and occupy Afghanistan. Ten years later that Evil Empire was in ruins.) Bush is too dull-witted to see the looming danger. In fact, Bush will almost certainly send troops to Lebanon. An additional war and occupation of Iran or Syria cannot be dismissed. Most empires only realize they’ve hopelessly overextended themselves when it’s far too late.
