Big Brother Really Is Watching

The Washington Post reports: “The FBI is embarking on a $1 billion effort to build the world’s largest computer database of peoples’ physical characteristics, a project that would give the government unprecedented abilities to identify individuals in the United States and abroad… Digital images of faces, fingerprints and palm patterns are already flowing into FBI systems in a climate-controlled, secure basement here. Next month, the FBI intends to award a 10-year contract that would significantly expand the amount and kinds of biometric information it receives. And in the coming years, law enforcement authorities around the world will be able to rely on iris patterns, face-shape data, scars and perhaps even the unique ways people walk and talk, to solve crimes and identify criminals and terrorists. The FBI will also retain, upon request by employers, the fingerprints of employees who have undergone criminal background checks so the employers can be notified if employees have brushes with the law.”
In other words, the federal government’s massive spy network will be placed at the disposal of your pointy-haired moron boss, who will be notified if you blot your copybook with our Lords and Masters in any way, so in addition to legal trouble, your job will be at risk and you will be threatened with blacklisting if you commit a “hate thought crime by offending a Gay or minority in some way –either real or perceived. George Washington must be spinning in his grave.
The Post continues “The increasing use of biometrics for identification is raising questions about the ability of Americans to avoid unwanted scrutiny. It is drawing criticism from those who worry that people’s bodies will become de facto national identification cards. Critics say that such government initiatives should not proceed without proof that the technology really can pick a criminal out of a crowd.”
If we were in fact worried about “unwanted scrutiny,” we would have taken to the streets over the tyrannical “Patriot” Act. Instead we shrug our shoulders and hope that we don’t become victims of these new government power. Imagine being arrested because you walked just like a terrorist did viewed from behind.
They keep telling us all these new powers they acquire are for fighting terrorism, but how likely is it that all this spying will be used to increase the revenue of the IRS by grabbing every last nickel of income, which may not have been reported.
The Post also reports “The use of biometric data is increasing throughout the government. For the past two years, the Defense Department has been storing in a database images of fingerprints, irises and faces of more than 1.5 million Iraqi and Afghan detainees, Iraqi citizens and foreigners who need access to U.S. military bases. The Pentagon also collects DNA samples from some Iraqi detainees, which are stored separately.”
So now they’re turning to American citizens for these databases. But…but…all these draconian “security” laws and Guantanamo Bay are just for wicked Muslims and foreigners with dark skins, right? Our wonderful beloved government would never EVER turn these laws on good ole Christian white folks like us, who love Jesus. Would they? Oh, no, no, they would never do that. (Yeah, right.)
The way things are shaping up, the purpose of the past eight years of the Bush regime has been to use an artificially created “terrorism threat” based on the 911 false flag attack to get all these horrible and evil laws in place, ready for the like of Hillary Clinton (or some other dictator-in-chief) to pick up and use.
There are three major cornerstones for the future police state: the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act of 2006, and now S.R. 1959, the Violent Radicalization and Domestic Terrorism Act, which formally introduces the concept of thought crime into the American legal and judicial system for the first time. The FBI is accumulating these huge databases of information in anticipation of Hillary’s advent in January of ‘09 and the subsequent fulfillment of the Establishment’s dream…the Big Roundup of all political dissidents in America, followed by the imposition of Total Control and the creation of a full cradle-to-grave surveillance and scripted society.
