The Democrats don’t seem to have thought out this whole Obamacare business very thoroughly even from the point of view of their own political advantage. It looks like an economic disaster in the making. Who will the public blame when it is almost impossible to get emergency room treatment and ordinary White people start dying because there were too many illegal alien Mexicans in the line ahead of them? In parts of southern Arizona, a number of obstetrics and gynecology clinics had to close because the illegal aliens bankrupted them. A pregnant White American woman would literally be endangering her life if she stayed at her home in certain parts of Arizona due to the long drive necessary to find a clinic that hadn’t been put out of business by Mexicans.

One news source reports: “The new healthcare law will pack 32 million newly insured people into emergency rooms already crammed beyond capacity, according to experts on healthcare facilities. A chief aim of the new healthcare law was to take the pressure off emergency rooms by mandating that people have insurance coverage. The idea was that if people have insurance, they will go to a doctor rather than putting off care until they faced an emergency. People who build hospitals, however, say newly insured people will still go to emergency rooms for primary care because they don’t have a doctor. ‘Everybody expected that one of the initial impacts of reform would be less pressure on emergency departments; it’s going to be exactly the opposite over the next four to eight years,’ said Rich Dallam, a healthcare partner at the architectural firm NBBJ, which designs healthcare facilities. ‘We don’t have the primary care infrastructure in place in America to cover the need. Our clients are looking at and preparing for more emergency department volume, not less,’ he said.”

This is going to be one hell of a mess. First off, the taxes for Obamacare will begin kicking in this year, so if you make any money at all you can pretty much forget about any refund on your 2010 return. Obamacare will gobble it all up. Another mess that will occur as soon as the first “treatment” programs kick in under Obamacare, say around 2013 or so, is that private employers now offering medical insurance will kick their employees off their private insurance and onto the government-run program. The employees will now have to pay huge premiums and whatever additional co-payments the Feds may mandate.

The sudden appearance of another 30 million American citizens (plus 20 to 30 million newly-amnestied illegals in a worst case scenario) will overwhelm and destroy the existing health care infrastructure. It will be easier to get an audience with the Pope than an appointment with an American doctor especially since thousands of doctors and RNs will be fleeing from Obamacare. Many will be leaving the country or else leaving the medical profession because they can’t handle medical decisions being made by Federal bureaucrats. Look forward to clinics and surgical hospitals popping up in the Cayman islands. Just hope and pray you don’t ever need any emergency care.

There’s an old saying: If it works don’t fix it. Our system isn’t perfect, but it works. It would work a lot better if we deported 20 million needy illegal aliens. Adding millions of needy Third World people to the system and sticking (predominantly White) taxpayers with the bill is NOT a just or fair solution.
